I see a lot of posts asking for this type of information, and also a lot of posts with inaccurate information, so I thought I would make this available to everyone.

If anyone sees a problem with any of my statistics please let me know...

This report was pulled from the zone file which exempts any domains without nameservers. Which as best as I can tell runs about a 1-2% average.

Firstly, Chips are like stocks. The more you sell, the more their value decreases and the more you buy, the more their value increases.

Secondly, I agree that the situation might be different for him but you said, "there is nothing wrong"

It is Justified but it is still wrong.

China is busy celebrating their Qingming festival. They say that market will pickup post Tuesday.
Lets see how it goes.

Better days are coming guys, IMO at least. I believe in May thing will get even better.

It's always good to follow the money, so do you think that the chines investors with
thousands of 5L.com CHIP are they all wrong or they just know something that at
this moment we might not see it yet and the panic is in favor of those who are buying
at this moment.

I personally can admit that I've invested a few Ks in the past few weeks in CHIP ones
with good & great patterns & letters and I never thought I will get them at that good prices.

Also, look at the backorders guys, not just the sales of the forum and you'll see a big
discrepancy on the prices which made me thinking...

I agree with you but the problem is i think its a market for 2017^ so we will have to face a renewal fee which i dont have for all my names

I thought on that too bro, but it's a little hard to believe that and if that will really happen and I can add at least
double of the renewal fee on the price then I'm happy to renew them all.

Agreed, I've only bought what I can afford to renew for a few yrs.

Always worth thinking about all possible outcomes before purchasing.

If you managed to hold your 5L for at least one or two years, you will surely get the profit, may be 20X of your investment..

Check prices of 4L chips two years before and check now. Well, it is true that prices of 4L.com chips have also go down but such ups and downs are with every business.

QingMing festival is just 3 days, but doesn't really count as 3 days because it includes Saturday and Sunday. It isn't a huge festival either, it is tomb-sweeping day. Not exactly a celebration type of holiday. Besides, this downtime started a while back, it's almost as slow as a dead person's heartrate at this point.

If anyone wants to sell their premiums, let me know. I can offer 5-10 dollars for something you bought for 1 dollar during the sale. No vowels, no so-called unwanted letters.

No plans to sell nor flip here, I plan to just hold for as long as I can.

It willbe difficult for you at renewal period

5L market is not good now and i do not think that it will be good till 2017

Thats not completely true ( But yes i am worried and want to save some money for renewal ) i have over 5k names and most of them are 3 same letters and almost 40% of then are without LNPQR ( Regged not intentionally accidentally )

What I see is the economical pressure, people don't want to take money out of their pocket. It is not only with domain name, it is with other sectors too...

We shouldn't sell our 5L cheaply, instead wait!
