I see a lot of posts asking for this type of information, and also a lot of posts with inaccurate information, so I thought I would make this available to everyone.

If anyone sees a problem with any of my statistics please let me know...

Well see, maybe the buyer will back off, happened before. No it doesnt end with a w. no special pattern, but the sequence can mean something to some commercial entity. As Ive said only 8000 acronyms in form CCXYZ possible. Since the LLLL.com chips beginning with SH and BJ are in 10.000+ range (just guessing) 5L.coms Chips are far more convenient.

We are definitely approaching to buyout.. However interestingly in last few days daily reg stats are decreasing.. It could be the reason they dump the prices first and collect 4L chips cheaper.. and then boom 5L buyout and 4L double up.. what do you think?

id make any bet some of the people behind these buyouts dont really give a *** about $8,000,000 on their own, now count together like 5-10 of them, and you have even less of a *** given, so my personal guess is that they will def buy when they drop and or renew them....

It's not the lack of quality remaining either. At less than 15% remaining you can guarantee those in for a quick buck are in the 'dump' stage of their 'pump and dump', they are not going to wait until everyone wants to dump (at buyout) which lowers the price. Seen it over and over in this industry.

Can you name me a buyout where this was the case? from ALL i have seen prices went UP right after the buyout... and then back down, not Up before the buyout and right down again after the buyout.

I'm not saying prices will not go up eventually. But anyone expecting buyout will double the value of their portfolio is kidding themselves. You can guarantee that a large proportion of chip investors are looking to sell as soon as buyout happens. This will bring the price down.

Those domains will be bought, names will be renewed/dropped and only then will you see a steady increase in value because of rarity.

There will always be domainers that will get out at the first opportunity for a small profit.
There will always be domainers happy to handreg at $10, hold for a few months and sell for $11.

Until buyout happens AND those guys are out of the way... the value will not increase significantly. That's a year+ away.

Well, thanks for explaining your view, but i have just experienced very different myself. In short: Almost double to triple reg fee after almost all buyouts i got into so far....

But since thats off topic.... lets wait and see if this buyout will pick up once we are below 10% ...
