Hello everyone,
I see a lot of posts asking for this type of information, and also a lot of posts with inaccurate information, so I thought I would make this available to everyone.

If anyone sees a problem with any of my statistics please let me know...

5L.com and 7N.com Registration Statistics as of 1/4/16

Generic 7N.com

***Keep in mind that about 1-2% more domains are registered than noted here.
This report was pulled from the zone file which exempts any domains without nameservers. Which as best as I can tell runs about a 1-2% average.

It's a game that's been played many times over, in other markets, now in domains.

30k domains is a pretty sizable investment, hundreds of thousands of dollars. I doubt the people making those types of investments had a change of heart over the weekend. More likely they are waiting for demand to cool off a bit and then they will resume purchasing. Just my opinion.

Not making sense with registrations. This should be applied to purchase of already registered domains.

Your investors have already bought quietly some time ago. Further, they just push the waves, attract more people, make promises, have talking heads go around etc., but they are not going to waste their money on remaining 350K names that they had to declare trash to get their first 15 letters into motion.

They need others to do it, they have covered their basis anyway. As far as they are concerned, buyout is already complete for 15 letters. If the rest get bought, even better for them, their floor will increase even further.

I agree it could work with bulk purchases, if other investors get shaken out and sell for less.

It could work with registrations in that the big investors don't want to attract too much attention to the buyout. This creates too much competition in the registration space.

Western World have their own Premium Letters (17) and others are considered less premium.

Quad Premium Western Premium Name Floor price 4L.com = $500+

Any Western Non premium 4L.com = $300+

May be same with China too 5L.com without LNQRP = $25+

Any Chinese Premium 5L.com with some non premium (LNQRP) = Reg fees and moving towards complete registration then we may able to see 2 different market like Western market has.

Just assumption.

Thanks

Available 11,63%

We are definitely approaching to buyout.. However interestingly in last few days daily reg stats are decreasing.. It could be the reason they dump the prices first and collect 4L chips cheaper.. and then boom 5L buyout and 4L double up.. what do you think?

Change of narrative again...

For Chinese, they started with 20 premium, couple of semi in A, I.

Western analysis would support such a claim with reference to dictionary, company names, sales data etc.

Chinese manipulators just agreed which ones they should exclude. Have you seen any data that somehow there insufficient number of pinyins starting with R? And what is insufficient?

In English, J is really difficult to find acronym for. There are literally handful of those that are meaningful, like Job, Joint, Jersey, Just, Judge... So there, the data for you. Acronyms for K: King, Knowledge, Key, Kit, Kid, Karate... Q: Quality, Quantity, Quest, Quarantine, Queue, Quantum... Z: Zone, Zebra, Zenith, Zen...

Now how many Pinyins do you have starting with R that can be legitimately used by a business? Probably hundreds. That should be sufficient to think it is prem without any discounting. Westerns don't rank the premium. B is as good as C as good as D as good as F...

Can anyone suggest the best vowel according to the Chinese? As in, after Chips, which letters will investors start looking into? Thanks.

The message was in Chinese from QQ, I didint bother to translate it yet, since I am not interested to sell it after 2 days. But I think he was only asking for price quote.

Yeah i've noticed increased demand especially on premium 5l.com chips lately.
Also parked at sedo I can see some of my 5l chips are having a surge in traffic on them lately.

Can't wait for post buyout to see where things are at!

Must not be an investor but an end user. Just guessing.
