$50 Template Contest

We are currently looking for a unique template for a GradingBook.com, a website in progress. The goal of the site is to track the user’s grades and create reports that can be viewed and printed. There will be no membership fees since the site will rely on advertisement revenue.

The site will ask the user for the grading point of their current school (4/12) and will then rely on that to calculate the grade point average (GPA). It will also allow for monitoring between semesters and years. It will tell the user if a GPA has risen or fallen between a specified amount of time. Also it will categorize classes and tell the average percentage and grade for the subject.

We are looking:

* The template must have the front and second page templates
* A great color scheme (preferably don’t overdue the white, but try bringing in beiges or grays)
* A unique look (feel free to use ovals and different shapes within the designs)
* A creative logo (accompanied by a slogan)
* Navigation (each page should have navigation which will include FAQ, member login, home, and more)
* Quick login/register area on the main page
* News (preferably on the main page)
* Visuals (images should entice viewers to join; use sparingly for dial-up users)
* Room for ad(s)

Along with $50 the winner will be the exclusive designer for the site. They will receive rights to work with me on the site as long as there are no issues between us.

The contest will end Wednesday, August 2, 2006. If none of the templates fit my criteria, none will be chosen and the contest may last longer. I will check-in daily to let designers know what could use improvement.

No the template doesn't need to be coded. We need the PSD of the layout though and room for Google Ads.

I'm postponing the contest until Wednesday to give you guys some more time. Also I'm going to be gone this weekend so I won't have time to critique any of the designs to ask you to change something. I'll be back on Monday with thoughts on each design already submitted. Thank you all for your interest.
