General Requirements:
This is a directory site that will feature many local directory site listings. Ideally it will be clean and corporate. The domain extension is not required within the design, but the name must be in it. Please use similar colors that accompany the home page template.

Be creative! I want a logo I can use on the website and in emails (for signature, etc).

Question:
Just to clarify, will your new logo be placed inside the upper left red area as in the image of the template reference below? Just making sure so that future entries keep it in mind when entering.

Great question. Yes, for the site, I will end up placing it in the upper left hand corner but will NOT be restricted to the red area. Whatever people come up with will be considerd. Thanks.

Thanks for the update - you're right on the date.

Scorpion - I like the way the entire concept is layed out - but perhaps something different on the left? Let's try some different color schemes.

CatFish - I like the colors, but not a huge fan of the check mark with the period on top. Thanks!

Original post has been edited. However, the new domain, BLUE RIBBON DIRECTORY.com should be easier in terms of a color scheme and logo. Not looking for an actual ribbon guys, but something that is blue and striking.

That's fine, I'll add a 2 day extension on this contest to compensate for designers changing the name & to allow for a few more entries. So the new End Date is Dec 5th.

I really like the logo with Blue in it - can we get rid of the guy to the left? I think maybe just the text portion works. Also, can we try for some different fonts? And use "Local Search Directories" for the text underneath. Thanks!
