$50 logo design contest - pokersite

Hi,
I'm looking for new logo for my pokersite.
I'll put it instead of forumethemes image at http://mdoliwa.superhost.pl/forum_backup/?styleid=5

Logo should include text - pokerzysta.pl
(pokerzysta means poker player in polish)

It's polish poker site, so you can try to put some polish accents into the logo, but it's not mandatory , just some idea that came into my head.

It's my first contest runnig here, so if something is not clear shout pls

I'd like to finish the contest as soon as possible, so I think August 21th is last day, but if I'll find good logo before this date I'll finish the contest earlier.

Prize is $50, I prefer Neteller (if anyone is using it), if not I can send it by paypal.

Not sure if the colours were correct, but they are easily changed - 100% custom-made and vector.

btw. there is a little mispelling in my first post, should be pokerzysta.pl instead of .com , can you change it?
btw.2 I'm not sure if it's important but should mention tyhat pokerzysta means poker player

will pls, give me a little more time to rethink it and see other logo ideas , then I'll write some comments.

Damn Will *bows in honour* Possibly the fastest entry in a while for a comp, and good quality.

I will enter, but I wont be home until 7-8pm GMT tonight. How long is the comp. open for? you should get a decent amount of entries over 48 hrs I would expect.

I just noticed that my original colours were to match the .com :red: I have changed them to match your .pl site better and also made some other subtle changes that I feel enhance the design

just short feedback,

1. Will7, I really loved that star ending the .com word, do you think in .pl it won't be looking so good? And for the colors I'm not expert so suppose it will be looking good for the colors of my forum

2. snkdesigns and patrick, pokerzysta is one word, I'm sure I confused you saying that it's poker player (in fact it is), but it's one word, not like in english, "poker zysta" have no meaning, you cannot separete it like you did, you cannot set one color for "poker" and other for "zysta", this is one word and only one word "pokerzysta" - hope I explained clearly.

snkdesigns - quiet nice logo, but I wouldn't like to have any connections with other casino games, so pls try to use only poker connected symbols (so no dices, no roulets wheels etc.), only chips and cards , and maybe something else tyou can meet playin poker.

jackieh - your design is to common for poker sites, would like to something more original (I know that tehre is so many poker sites that it's hard to be orignal, but that's what I'm looking for

Similiar comment to patricks design, try to find something more original

And back to deadlines, like I said last on 21th the contest will be over for sure.So send your logos till friday and on weekend I'll chose the best one.

Ok, some feedback
1. Will7 - Nothing comes into my mind (maybe you can play with colors, change the .pl part), so you should wait now till end of contest
2. Scopeweb - it's too common poker logo/header type, I'd like the logo that maybe in some future I'll put on tshirts, so I don't want it to look like photo.
3. w59cb83x - I like this logo, it's simple and nice, but I saw similiar logo type on other poker site, don't remember its name (there is probably more sites with something like this), so can you think out something more original?
4. patrick - mutch better then previous logo, can you try to change the pokerzysta.pl font, I don't like this shadow luiine across text and I'm not sure about this big border.
