$50.00 Logo Design Contest & additional $ for flash intro

I thank everyone for their great and hardwork on my last contest. Everyone did a great job aside from my bumblings.

I have another contest for everyone that wants to join in and this is fairly simple.

The company is called Central Tech Unit.

I would like to have a seal/emblem type logo. Circle in form. Vector format. Need something non-cartoony looking. Very professional.

Potential color schemes:

1. Black and White
2. Blue and Yellow and White
3. Black and White with some hints of blue.
4. If you think something else looks good, it would be nice too.

The business is a IT networking company (design of networks, pc troubleshooting, and consulting).

Been in business (not under this name originally, of course) for 15 years. Servicing nationwide (ok, i consider 2 clients on the East coast nationwide). Desperately trying to expand. Mainly California.

I will throw in an extra $50.00 if someone can come up with a great short flash intro (possibly the seal spinning) with something else cool on it. I dunno.

Nice attempt, but completely not what I was trying to accomplish. Need a logo that is much like a seal (military like or corporation seal or something of that nature).

The first one is definately getting real close. the font can be adjusted a bit to a different font. Is there anything that could be added to the center that would indicate a IT company?

What kind of font and what kind of image did you have in mind?

I have not really thought that through too much about the actual graphics. The globe is cool, but I did not know if there was a shield in front of the globe that has some designs on it.

font all caps and something similar to the washington font that is show in the examples (not the part that says Department of Defense)

The layout with the circuit board is cool so definately keep that.

Sorry there, I mean to create a shield with designs on it. Could you spread out "Central Tech Unit" and the other caption a little bit to that they almost meet in the center side.
