Hi,
I want to sell some domains I've been holding for a long time. I not longer have the ability to use them the way I wanted, so I am looking to sell them.
I feel lost, and I'm looking for some help and direction. So I thought I'd start here....
4U2U ( & ForYouToYou - PLUS those names with other extensions....)
a. Why did you acquire the domain?
I had hoped to start an online business similar to etsy/ebay, but with different business model as far as sellers and buyers were concerned.
b. Which market did you feel the name would be best suited in?
Online Sales of used and hand-made products was my intention.
But there are plenty of options;
Product Delivery
Food Delivery
etc...
c. What research did you conduct prior to purchasing the domain?
Nothing really, other than watching the way of the world. I had done well in business's previously.
d. Did you already have a value in mind for reselling to an end-user and/or reseller?
Being a dreamer, I of course thought I'd build it to be a Million $$ business, I've been sick for a while, so I faded from business, and my dreams of the value have still somewhat faded. But, I still feel it's a valuable and unique domain name, with on of it's qualities actually being that it HASN'T been associated with anything yet.
e. Does the domain get any traffic? (Please provide screenshot proof)
I'm not really sure how to look. Back before I parked it, it was getting some hits and had quickly moved to the top of searches, but after I parked it at SEDO it all but disappeared. I think if it was active again and NOT on a parking site, it would move up again rather quickly because of it's uniqueness.
f. Does the domain generate any revenue? (Please provide screenshot proof)
No. I never activated it. I had it up for a short time, but then parked it. I had it as SEDO, but stopped trusting them. I found "Other" pages were coming up from time-to-time when I looked at the site. I saw they were redirecting my domain, and I didn't get credit. SO I left them. But as far as the site as a working site, no. I never used it to generate revenue.
g. What is the age of the domain?
Creation Date: 29-dec-1998
h. Is there anything else you can provide that might help an appraiser not familiar with your domains target market?
I'll be honest. I am a rookie. So, not sure what else to say, or tell. It's an unused Domain Name.
