$40 (+ incentives) Header Contest

Hey.
I need a header (preferably w/ logo) for http://shirtoholic.com.
Prize: $40 via paypal and a link to your site from http://melen.net (PR5) for 1+ month(s).
Requirements: 845x150 (plus/minus 10pixels)
Should have links to: Home, About, Contact, Suggest An Idea, Partnership, FAQ ("Suggest An Idea" is optional)
Should be graphical and be t-shirt and/or drinking related
There is no color scheme, please use your imagination .
The image should be good quality JPG or you can just give it to me in PSD.

The only pics from the site are the t-shirts. Sadpunks had less graphics, and you found his fine...heh....

Heres my second go. I did a irish theme, symbolizing all the drinking...you know what i mean :lol: . Also I made a little curve in the letters and added a leprauchan. oh and some clovers.

I like the irish theme but I don't want my site to have it... It would be something I would put on for 1 week.... the week of leprachon's day or something.

I really don't know how to improve your header except to remake it.... it is really nice and it's a design I am considering... but I feel that it is not unique enough for the site.

Well mmelen, I don't know what to tell ya. IMHO the first one I made fits right. It's got a fun feel, not too professional because IMHO your site isn't very proffesional, no offence (kicks ass) but it is more a fun site...if ya kno what i mean.

I was looking at the designs with my partner and here is some feedback we came up with.

enter_ca2000: The design looks very proffesional but it doesn't fit the site at all. There is also too much empty space and there is no indication of the site selling t-shirts.

vipip: We were looking at your entries on other threads and we really liked your work there. The header in this entry however we feel is very unproffesional and sloppy.

Taylor Hewitt: The header is decent but we just feel that the other entries are better. The header is too "cartoony" and does not fit the site.

tgo: The header is too busy and clustered. There is not enough graphics and too much text.

sadpunk: The header is good but is a little too ordinary. Maybe you can make it a little more creative.

dew: As I said before, I am also considering yours but we would like it to incorporate t-shirts in the header.

benza: We feel that the font and the graphics don't go with the site.
benza #2: I don't understand where you got those colors... they are too dark for the site. I would like to see a logo and better graphics than the t-shirt guy + beer picture,

SB_GEMINI: The header is amazing but doesn't go with the site at all... shirtoholic.com currently has a bland light design that doesn't correspond with the fire on yours. I also don't like the beer + shirt idea that benza also used...

Nebo: I really liked how its unique but theres too much space in the out site and the mug and the bear bottle do not go well with the rest of your design and out site.

Taylor Hweitt #2: I still dont like the graphics on it and the color scheme, the brown doesnt look well with our white backrounded layout,i also dont like the 2 pictures there. By the way our site is shirtoholic.com not shirtoholics.com

Yea white background... but you can use any colors you want for the header... just make sure it's not too dark or bright.
