Hi all,
I'm looking for a logo and header for my website Cogah - website tools. Winner gets $40, paid via PayPal. I'm essentially looking for a basic enough logo and a header made, to replace the current header. Should contain "Cogah" as the main title, and optionally (but preferably) the sub-tagline "Website Tools"

Type of Contest : LOGO Design

Prize : $40.00

Contest End Date & Time : One week (7 days) after the first entry is received. Going on NamePros post timestamp.

Size Requirements : No wider than 685 pixels, no higher than 75 pixels. See my website for an idea of my current layout; I don't want the new header to therefore be much higher than it currently is, hence the relatively small 75 pixel height. Obviously it's best to make the logo much bigger and then scale it down when making the header image.

Color Requirements : Nothing specific. Must fit in with the Cogah website's design

General Requirements : As above; need a logo and header image made for the website "Cogah", with an optional tagline of "Website Tools". Need a logo made (full size logo delivered in addition to the overall header please), and then in-corporated into a header image

Additional Information : Contest ends 24th September 2009, 11:20 AM NamePros time.

Thanks, please post here if you have any questions :) I'll reply back periodically giving feedback on all entries. Will choose 1 winner just after the specified date - within 24 hours of the ending date.

Many thanks,
Tristan Perry

This is the one you saw before. It has %50 opacity on white shades.

This has %35.

And this one has %20.

Here is the orange on the %50 bg.

I like that logo, thanks a lot. However I think the BG needs changing a bit since the logo seems to sink into the BG instead of standing out. But I definitely like the cohah02.jpg logo :)

Thanks, I really like those variations :) These logos are really great, I can't think of any other variations to suggest really. Thanks for the entries and work :)

Hmm I really like this idea, thanks a lot. Can't think of any variations to suggest, but will let you know if I think of anything to suggest. :)

Thanks, that looks pretty good :) I fear now though that the overall header area is waay too dark compared to the rest of the site layout. But yeah, the one earlier seems fine really :)

Hi Tristan,
I noticed that your website has a flexible width and especially some of my designs are far beyond the width you requested. So I thought I should show how they can work. You can see it on this page. In case others are wondering what I'm talking about open that page and scale down the browser window. It is flexible.

The image is 1600px by 75px. It is a background image and centred vertically. There is no normal image just the bg image. If the browser is resized it will remain centred. If the browser has a wider resolution than 1600px the bg colour will kick in from both sides. You can see the CSS in the source code.

It is also possible to separate the bg and the logo but then the light effect on the edges of the letters will have to go.
Cheers.

Well, if you want/like some of these unreadable logotypes, good luck then, I'm out;o)

That looks great, thanks a lot for the input/advise :) Yep, that does seem the best way to handle the fluid width, many thanks.

That's a better method than I'm currently using on my design, so many thanks for the idea, I appreciate it.

Thanks for these, they look good. Could I perhaps see E with some variations of the header BG? Thanks anywhoo, these look good.

Yes you definitely are too sensitive (re: your edit message). Thanks all the same for entering into this contest.

Thanks Scorpio. I was lucky with this one since the contest holder did communicate very well and provided good feedback. I hope to win some contests where you participate too. I love competition. Cheers. Erdinc
