The Job: This job assigment is VERY broad. I want an image where you can add text to. Now let me explain
I am making a 'sign' generator website, where users can enter text into an image to personalize it.
Some examples:

Can also be a fan sign like: http://modifiedliving.com/fansigns/iloveyou.JPG

I don't care what colors you use, if it's a cartoon or photograph anything... just be unique.
Please make sure the text is maximum 2 lines (preferably 1) and is going straight (so it works with the script I have). You must include the font file as well. On the image, where the text goes simply include "SAMPLE TEXT" or "SAMPLE TEXT GOES HERE."
Entries must include .PSD format and the font file.

The Pay: $40.
Why so little!?: I might offer the prize money to more than 1 design if I really like them. So although I guarantee that at least 1 design wins, I might buy a few more I like. So please... enter as many entries as you want to.

Contest Ends: Thursday September 7th 8PM EST. But please send in entries much earlier so I can comment on them.

it would be cool if they were able to upload an image and your database resized it so it would fit in a picture box like this and then post their comment. sounds complicated though.

Jaynesh, here are some ideas, but you can come up with your own as well.

The submissions so far are decent but try to be more original than just signs... such as http://www.cerealfreak.com/ where the text is on the cereal box and it's like you customize your own cereal box. Maybe one of those airplane banners (http://www.arnoldaerial.com/plane_header_full.swf w/o the animation...) or message in the sand http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/311184/2/istockphoto_311184_will_you_marry_me.jpg
or valentines candy message http://images1.comstock.com/Imagewarehouse/TS/SITECS/ThumbnailVersions/C0032/C0032948/C0032948.jpg
Or how about design your own vodka bottle: http://www.iconocast.com/img/absolut.png where instead of absolut vodka it says the message.

These are all just examples. You can use them if you'd like or make your own.

I like D t R a X's a lot... very nice, exactly what i'm looking for. I just don't really think the lisence plate part of it doesn't look too good (i guess nascar cars don't have lisence plates so you had to draw it on...)
Jaynesh's chocolate bar entry is very nice as well.
koncepts, yours looks good but i'd rather it be more original and that you personalize something and not just text on the side.

EDIT: I previously said that the text has to be straight... It doesn't anymore, the script was modified so the text can be on a slant.
