Logo contest for SiteMastertools - $20

Hi all,
I need a logo for my upcoming site SiteMastertools.com
Offering $20 to the winner.

Very few rules and requirements:

1) No colour limitations, but needs to have a transparent background.

2) Overall size must fit within 400 x 200 pixels

3) Please include "SiteMaster Tools" text somewhere in the overall design.

4) I will require the final high resolution (min 300ppi) PSD file with all layers, effects and fonts, in case I need to change either colors or font in the future.

5) Your choice to include a slogan or not.

6) Must be your own original work, and indemnify me from any Copyright infringement. The winning design will become my property.

Please do watermark your entries.

Payment of $20 can be via PayPal or MoneyBookers.


I'd like to end this contest by this Sunday 13th August at 6pm GMT but reserve the right to extend (could be if either not enough entrants to choose from).

OK, some initial feedback to help everyone:
So far, I prefer designs by jackieh1791 and shamrock36

The reason is because I was hoping for the logo to contain real life tools.
Not sure how far you can go, but how about tools to replace some of the letters: a hammer for the thetter 'T' etc...

Other ideas could include a person wearing a University Masters hat (called a mortar board in England), holding some design tools?

Anyway, hope to see some more designs and ideas from you soon.
The site itself will hopefully become very popular, so a good one for your portfolios.

Hi, not been too sure about what to say on your entries, but don't like the 'skinny' fonts, and neither really look like a brand logo to me.

Another good one, but your first version looks more appealing to me, with good use of the screwdriver pointing to the .COM

I wonder what a slogan would look like on the screwdriver handle?

In fact, I'll add to this competition and say that if anyoners design doesn't win, but I like the slogan, I'll pay out $5 as an extra prize. Fair?

I think the screwdriver handle may be too small for a slogan to fit, so wondering what if you replaced it with a spanner instead?
