Can I buy unlimited domains with that price?
For me (their customer since 2009) it also shows $4.
So looks like regular unlimited promo.

So for new customer outside of the US they must renew for $15 before they can transfer-out from IONOS ? Please advise. I'm tagging @Jurgen Wolf in case he knows information regarding this too.

This only applies to their $1 .com promo (one domain per user).

For example, I am a new user who does not live in the US. When I add a .COM domain to my cart, ionos offers me a two-year payment:

If I change 2 years to 1 year, then I will be shown the regular price, not $1 dollar:

Residents of the United States, if they change two years to one year, will still see the price of $1

From my observation, autorenewal can't be disabled within first 24h since registration/transfer, that's why such error appears.

For billing quests use billing@

This was correct, I was able to remove auto renewal after 24-48 hours,

as of now, I see no reason IONOS isn't a worthy option. anything is better than @GoDaddy imho

Can I transfer it out after 60 days?
Certainly.
I had instant transfer-outs even after ~40 days since registration. Donuts TLDs like .life

Is there any sales e-mail? I couldn't find it. I need to ask some questions before buying domains.
Try sales@
It worked in the past. Probably - works nowadays as well.

Or via phone/callback, or LiveChat.

does anyone know if ionos have an afternic fast transfer confirmation option available ?
Instant transfer approval is available there.
But they don't participate in Afternic network, they are Sedo sister company (under the same parents).

Sedo MLS is supported at basic level (they distribute Sedo listings).
But they are not Premium MLS partner (with automatic transfer to the buyer).

well, there is a chance you are getting special treatment due to your history with them compared to other customers and potential customers of IONOS like myself and others whove encountered many issues with them over the years
i have some names at ionos.com with no problems. most of my dealings are with ionos.ca, also no problems. btw ionos.ca does me a great deal on .org...$3.00 USD. can't beat that.

???
It can be disabled in the domain settings (Renewal&Transfer tab)...
And also for multiple domains via https://contract.ionos.com

Don't spread disinformation.

I also initially felt like saying this, but he is actually right , maybe something with this specific 4$ deal,
I tested, and keep getting this error "
Update auto-renewal settings
Temporarily not available "

also thank you for the https://contract.ionos.com link, I had no idea,
May I ask if doing this deletes the domains from account ? or just guarantees no renewals ?
Thank you.

Do anyone know how much time they take to confirm a registration?..it has been more than 8 hours in my case, payment deducted the same time but yet to get my domains registered. This is the slowest, even hostpapa that do all things manually, doesn't take that much time.
Antifraud procedure for new accounts takes up to 48h.
And payment wasn't deducted, just authorized.

i am still not able to gain confidence to transfer my 50 odd .com domains to them, i do not know of any .com bag holder that uses them..

anyone here who have transferred over 100 .com domains there at $4 a piece ? $4 transfers are lucrative but ain't worth the uncertainty risk imo.

Also, importantly, do they have afternic fast transfer compatibility ?

any one with the answers...

What risks exactly???
They don't steal or destroy the domains, 2FA is supported as well.

If you are talking about the promo limits - just launch their LiveChat and ask how many .COMs are allowed for $4 per 1 customer...

I asked to them.

It is important to answer all of your questions quickly and satisfactorily. We do offer .com domains for $4 for the first year then $15 after. However, this promotional offer is only applicable for new customers with a maximum limit of 10 promotional offers ordered.

Moving the domain to another IONOS account will require an advance payment for another year, our system will automatically bill the domain for an additional 1 year of the domain renewal once transferred to another account.

As per ICANN, below 60 days registered domain cannot be transferred to another provider. After 60 days, you can transfer it anywhere.

very basic question.. but how do I sign up with them? there's no visible option! should I click on Partner Program?

Buy something from them and you will have an account.

They provide Bulk transfers via request to their team.

p.s I transfer regularly over 11 years already, because domaining is not only .com

From the beginning, 1and1 is not focused on domainers at all.
Their primary target: endusers. And webhosting as primary business.

For me many TLDs are interesting there, including free .online domains.
