Just curios how the market is for these domains right now.

Here's my guess, 750 euro, it is a one offer wonder, not an auction really.
3-d.com

If I had the cash I'd probably make a bid on it, but then again I'm also a risk taker.
If and/or when 3D p0rn ever takes off, I think this would be one of the top 4 type-in domains for gay 3d videos or pics (and 3D web cams if this ever gets going).

was this won in auction or sold without being pushed into auction?
I am pretty sure it would fetch higher price if it would be on auction.
whoever sold this for only $5k is an idiot. this is a 6 figure name.
Well, there are not so many names that sell for 6 figures.whoever sold this for only $5k is an idiot. this is a 6 figure name.
Since "3D Printing" was a point of discussion here (pg 5 & 6), I thought I'd post this article I just came across about 3D printing,
http://money.cnn.com/2011/01/24/technology/3D_food_printer/index.htm
3D printing (or 3Dprinting.com) really should not be mentioned in the context of nor confused for 99% of 3D-television-inspired 3D domain registrations. 3D printing as in rapid prototyping is a mature and viable technology that is widely used in industry and 3D priting as in desktop manufacturing holds a lot of promise for both industry and even home...
The point I'm trying to make is that the sale of 3Dprinting.com for $25,000 is not related to and does not make 3Dtowel.com or Amazing3DTVDeals.us any more "valuable"...
If I had the cash I'd probably make a bid on it, but then again I'm also a risk taker.

...Lots of people say they'd do something if they had money, that does not mean the name is worth more.
Private sale I sold 3dabstract.com
$975
