The new weekly domain sales Report is out at DNJournal.com. We've been talking a lot about a boom in 3-letter .com sales this year and yet more fuel was added to the fire this week when broker George Hong closed the biggest sale of the year to date in that category in a deal worth nearly $300,000. That was also one of the year’s 10 biggest sales to date regardless of category. A second 3-letter .com also made the first five on our all extension Top 20 Sales Chart. We also saw one of the year’s 10 biggest ccTLD sales. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2015/20150429.htm

As long as "sales" results are published as credible from auction entities that allow their own employees to pump up prices by participating as "bidders" in auctions hosted by that employee's respective employer, then I don't see how ANY of the published "reported sales" results could be swallowed as though they were credible.

The history of the domain auction industry is replete with examples of shill bidding, fraud, shenanigans, and hype machines that tell us weekly how "hot" the market is. These entities have lost all credibility with me. Y'all can check out MY credibility, then judge my opinion from there.
