why am I unable to login namepros unless I complete 2step login verification with an email code?
on top of that it says it'll keep doing this every 30 days.

this isn't the first time np is forcing members to do things. how about making extra security optional instead forcing people into it? @Eric Lyon

It is optional for members. Here's the link:

It's only required for staff. We haven't changed anything with two-step recently.

i don't get it
I was logged in at al times
then suddenly 2 hours back i click the usual all watched threads link to get on np like I always do and then am asked to login. when I enter my info I am, automatically taken to 2step verify screen. then I get email with code. if I didn't enter it, I'd never be able to login

so I don't call that optional.

You enabled two-step on your NamePros account. Since it is optional, you can disable it at this link:

• https://www.namepros.com/account/two-step

When you have it enabled, it's required at login until you disable it. Once you login, you can disable it if you want.

As for being logged out, that sounds like a possible bug:
