My prediction is the rise of the Security Token (Digital Securities). We will see the beginning of the "Tokenization of Everything" in 2019.

I will continue to focus on .com, .org and nGTLDs (great keyword + extension combos).

Personally, I have never focused that much on current trends, but if I am able to snap a good canna/tech name, I am happy of course.

Indeed, as a 63 year old seen most of the ups and downs, I do think we are in for a fair chance of a Global recession in 2019. (probably similar to the one of the early 1970's) Employment levels may be up but confidence is way down. It will really be a culmination of all the negative aspects of 2018 coming home to roost. The immense growth of the internet will have played its part in this. I anticipate a surge in Dog-eat-dog transactions and business collapses in 2019.

I'd love to be wrong but I don't think I am. As for the internet its a case of fewer businesses willing to take an expensive plunge or put more eggs into that same basket. This will reflect into the domain name market and indeed a lot of the internet based markets.
