I am sure there is a few decent sales that were not on the list so anyone who knows of any then please post them here. I got the info from Namebio.com so blame them if anything is wrong :hehe:

I know of one six figure sale for a great .tv name that is wrapping up. Once it does finish I'll announce here. The name is not mine but is an awesome .tv (premium) with a $100 dollar renewal fee!

I'm still wondering what happened with fix.tv

Sedo is what happened to it most likely... I've got firsthand experience sending a name to sedo auction with mutiple bids from the same potential buyer, but when it hit the auction, it came up as one bid with the reserve met. Unfortunately, I've had sales that never went through via Sedo, but was able to get the contact data of the negligent party. Fix.tv is a great name - if you're that worried about it Mike, place an offer on it before it sells to someone else... like me : )

Once a 6 fig sale happens there will be no stopping TV. It's like an exam it has to pass before it can move on to the next level! It is just a matter of time....

I must say, I have seen more action recently with more sensible offers coming in rather than the usual $200 for a prime one-worder. In 2007 I would have sold but now I am holding on to all names and not giving any more bargains away!

Go TV!!!!!!!

Personally I have noticed something interesting coming from the traditional .comers. Now they are much quieter when it comes to .TV and many are saying things like "Let the market decide".

To be clear there are still many pitfalls one can fall into when investing into .TV and I see tons of questionable regs coming from people who with no development plans. Keep in mind .com was .com, and .TV is a much different animal. We will have to invest more IMO to get a smaller piece of the pie then on the .com side, but if done correctly that will still be a very lucrative piece.

I will attending DomainFest this coming week and it will be interesting to gauge the domaining community as a whole in regards to .TV

I will say we have some real pioneers on this board in terms of old school .comers that have thrown their hat into the .tv ring. It will be nice to see you guys cash in in the next few years. My sense is 2008 will be a good step forward but we are still 2 to 3 years away from the mainstream tipping point.

anyone can still get a good dot tv name for under $500 a year.
when these $500 and under premium are gone dot tv will be worth more.
i think the dot tv sites out there are all very poor clones of each other.
what i dont understand i list my name on sedo for sale yet get a call 3 night running at 3am asking do i want to sell my name when i say no he tells me to fxxx off.
the name is creditcrunch and he offers $50

While we all wait with excitement at the 6 Fingure sale then i thought i would highlight a potentialy great sale that is on Sedo auction right now.

DEBTCONSOLIDATION.TV
Current Bid: 4,250 EUR ($6,244 USD)
Bidding History (1 Bid)

This is a massive bid considering it is the sort of domain that would of got a very low appraisal from most folk on here & it is also the type of domain where people would ask "What Does Debt Consolidation have to do with TV & Video content..."
People buying up these type of domains for high fees shows that domainers/end users have faith in .tv as more than just a extension for video content.

You are right Heroes that is very strange indeed (I got the PM)
There is always a slight doubt about Auction sales on Sedo with only 1 bid & i guess this is going to have the same doubts.
I dont think the owner is a NP member as i have never heard of this domain before i seen the Sedo Auction, i hope it is a legitimate sale though as it would be another high sale to keep the .tv figues rising.
