Contest suspended - check back soon (We may have a winner pending some work they would need to do on their logo) - it will either be renewed shortly, or it will be closed and a winner will be announced!
Hi there,
First of all - yes, this is a $200 logo contest, where one winner will
receive $200 USD to their paypal!
If the company ordering this logo likes two or more designs, it will pick one
winner for $200, and will offer the other(s) a different compensation.
All in all - if you're a talented designer with a creative spirit and you have
some wild ideas, you'd better be in on this one, as that's what we're looking
for here!
Clarifications:
Are they looking for a corporate style logos, or artsy ones
The answer would probably lean more toward corporate style logos.
However, they are looking for ALL ideas - so go wild. If you have a
CREATIVE idea for a logo that might be more "artsy", give it a go
When will the contest end?
More than likely next week, the beginning of February. An official end date
would be announced later on.
What company is this?
UnifiedOnline! (Spelled both words together).
That is the company's name. In general, the company deals with unifying
the collective buying power of its many members, to obtain lower prices for
all day to day services, products etc. - On top of that, every member
actually owns a piece of the company.
Color schemes, slogans, other guidelines?
Use your imagination
One sentence that comes to mind (although it's nothing solid, so feel free to
design around that idea, but keep in mind it is probably not the actual
company slogan, but rather just a concept) is "One World, One Race, One
People". No need to use that actual text in the logo, unless it is used more
as a bit of a "place holder" for a future slogan, if you come up with an idea
for a logo to incorporate something like that. This is not a must in any way -
the logo would be fine if it contained no text whatsoever as far as we are
concerned.
Does it need to be a vector? Any other terms to the contest?
Yes, and yes:
1) The logo must be in vector format.
2) The winning designer(s) must sign a contract specifying all
copyrights to the logo, and all parts of the logo are transferred to the
company, and are the sole property of the company.
3) You must use original art. No widely available clip arts, or anything of
that nature will be accepted.
Anything else?
Good luck!
Looking forward to seeing some quality submissions - I heard there are a lot
of good designers here on Namepros, prove it
