.mobi 2 offers on my LLL.mobi's should I accept?

I am thinking of sending these 2 to auction (SEDO) as I believe they are QUALITY LLL.mobi's and I think they will get some more bids on them. They both have excellent acronyms. I know one person is bidding on both. What do you think price wise for these?

SML (stands for small among others)
NLC (lots of national acronyms)

thanks in advance for your thoughts, Gary.

If a person is bidding on both, chances are they aren't an enduser and aren't giving you as much as you could get otherwise. Without knowing the offers, it's hard to say if they're good or bad. Min wholesale is in excess of $150 now and your names are far greater quality than that... NLC is my favorite. Being a ticker symbol for a NYSE company and all... I wouldn't let that one go for less than mid XXX, good luck!

thanks

Both are 350 offers, but I was thinking its a good start for an auction. Should I take a chance in an auction? Maybe I will do one to see how the biddign goes, you think the SML is the weaker of the 2?

thanks for your feedback, Gary

You're welcome :)

An offer of $350, while strong, isn't overwhelming. I definitely would go the auction route. Even if this buyer chooses to back out you really aren't risking much as you could easily get $250+ offers here on Namepros -- nevermind future potential.

SML= small, medium, large
From a strictly letter quality point of view this is the better one.
S>C
M>>N
L=L
But both are all-premium letter domains.

$350 is about what a serious reseller might offer ---- BECAUSE HE THINKS HE CAN SELL THEM FOR MORE!

Think about it - why else the offer?

Probably he would hold for a while and let the market rise. If you need the money now, or have better investments available and no money for them, or just feel over-invested, then it would make sense to sell. But there is no point in selling if you believe the LLL.mobi market has a lot of room to grow and you can hang on for a while.

The fact that he bid on both -- he basically admitted he's planning on reselling them.

thanks!

Thanks, I really don't need to sell them, I just was wondering if I would get a lot of interest throwing it to auction and getting it bidded up there. I have 5 days to think. Anyone have a list of LLL's that have sold recently on sedo auction?

thanks again, Gary.

Found these under the reported .mobi sales thread:

EOL.mobi = $10,000
JPY.mobi = $2,000
XTC.mobi = $1554
REO.mobi = $650
GLN.mobi = $625
MYT.mobi = $510

Looking at these... It seems evident you could get in the $500+ range if you found an enduser at present.

"if you found an enduser at present." emphasis added

I guess it depends on how you view the future of LLL.mobi. The odds of finding an enduser in a sedo auction???? I do not know. Really you would need two end users to bid against each other. BTW - someone posted that the 7 day auction time starts when the offer is received, not from when you place the name in auction. I cannot confirm that.

I am kinda in the same position, a few days ago I received a similar offer on a LLL.mobi. I have not replied and may not. I believe that the market is going to move upward a lot in the next few years and I do not like the idea of selling what someone considers my best name for a reseller price at this time.

The fact that so many resellers are offering reasonably on them would suggest there are quite a few people believing such. I don't own any 3 letter/number domains myself so I have no reason to be biased with this response... However, I do believe they're going upwards myself with the way things have been lately.

move them to auction if you need money otherwise keep them.

I am not selling mine ( I own 6 LLL.mobi) for less than $500 each. And price will increase with time.
