hm same, please share if anyone works with that price
yes.. only on 11th October. I think there will be many other registrar will announce .net promo on the date above
Let's wait and see,
Sale starts on 11th, looking forward to some savings
It's from 11-13 th october.
The promotion is a promotion from Resellerclub. I have a reselleraccount and got the mail that it willl be 1.99 USD. and until stock lasts.
Alpnames.com and whois.com and whiz.in are all resellers of Resellerclub.
It's possible that all 3 will give this promotion. But they also can decide not to give the promotion, although they have to pay less for netregistrations then. They're not obliged to give the promotion through to their customers.
HOWEVER THEY CAN GIVE the promotion, AND EVEN more promotion , f.i. 1.89 USD.
I've seen that Alpnames gives a lot of times promotions a bit more then the ongoing promotion of Resellerclub (but not on all extentions).
The reason is of course, that they hope that you renew then the year after (and their renewalpricing is a bit higher then elsewhere).
It is a common misconception that AlpNames is merely a ResellerClub reseller, caused largely by the fact that we use LogicBoxes as our registrar backend. We are actually an ICANN-accredited registrar in our own right.
As we are directly accredited with the registry operators, we receive the same promotional offers that PDR/ResellerClub etc. receive, but our prices are set completely independently. That being said, both the current .COM and the upcoming .NET promotions are marketing initiatives being run in conjunction with PDR - so that does confuse the picture a little!
As for our renewal pricing...according to TLD List, AlpNames has the cheapest renewal pricing across 212 TLDs. What is more, we are constantly checking and balancing our prices and product offering against those of our competition - quite simply, we strive to be the best value domain registrar out there.
PLEASE NOTE that the timings for the .NET promotion have been adjusted slightly by the registry - it will now start at 00:00 EST tomorrow and not GMT, as originally advertised.
Thanks for the update. Is privacy protection included for .net promo deal?
Privacy protection available for .NET at an additional cost of $0.99 per domain name. We would hope to be able to start offering privacy protection for free again at some point in the near future...watch this space...
Few helpful points regarding the upcoming promo (provided by AlpNames Support):
- the promotion will run from 00:00 EST on 11 October to 23:59 EST on 13 October at the latest
- the price will be $1.89
- no coupon code is required
- subject to availability, there is no restriction on the number of domain names that you can register.
Hopefully, it helps.
can we register the .net though our domain reseller ?
Please ask the AlpNames fit it, I don't know exactly about it.
The things I knew are mentioned above.
Good morning! I am afraid that, due to certain restrictions placed upon us by the registry, we cannot offer the discount downstream to our resellers on a wholesale basis. However, should any resellers have customers that are particularly interested in this promotion, please feel free to get in touch with our support team, either via live chat or email ([email protected]), and we will see if we can make the offer available on a case by case basis.
