Hello,
I am in need of a very precise .htaccess file. It must work perfectly and I want to see a sample on your OWN server before I use it on mine.
Here's what it needs to do:
I have a domain: www.VirtualDN.com
I need this .htaccess file to recognize ANY "subdirectory" request (eg. virtualdn.com/subdirectory.request) in one of 2 formats:
1) virtualdn.com/*.* but IGNORING *.php
2) virtualdn.com/www.*.* but IGNORING *.php
3) virtualdn.com/*.*.* but IGNORING *.php
4) virtualdn.com/www.*.*.* but IGNORING *.php
Get the idea? E.g. it would IGNORE anything like this:
www.virtualdn.com/faq.php
So it will IGNORE ALL PHP FILES.
But will CATCH AND HANDLE the others. Here's some samples: (it must work both WITH and WITHOUT the "www." preceding "virtualdn.com"):
1) www.virtualdn.com/domain.com
2) www.virtualdn.com/www.domain.com
3) www.virtualdn.com/domain.co.uk
4) www.virtualdn.com/www.domain.co.uk
THEN, once it has found the proper syntax, it will do an INVISIBLE REDIRECT to a file called "showpage.php", and must send over 1 VARIABLE.
That variable MUST be the "subdirectory", eg, in the samples above, it must send to showpage.php the following value in the variable $name:
1) domain.com
2) www.domain.com
3) domain.co.uk
4) www.domain.co.uk
See what I mean?
If you can do this and prove to me it works on your own server, I will pay you $15.
Any questions please PM or reply.
Thanks!
