The auction will end in 6 days, so the final price will be in the $x,xxx, xxx! D-: The seller can just afford to retire :D

It's worse than that. There are 26 bids, but there are only 2 bidders.

Not to say the auction is bogus, since the domains could potentially have decent value, but it sure seems highly suspect.

Hey,

You might want to calculate how much ebay fees will be before you try and close this deal, lol.

OK let me play the devils advocate for a sec. Suppose you knew about Las Vegas in the days when the mobsters were building it and you had the ability to reg domain names like : lasvegas.com,vegashotels.com,vegasvacations.com etc etc. Would you have done it?

I do sense a bit of that BS stuff regarding this particular auction ( 26 bidders & 2 bids) but I gotta say that the concept is a tried and true one. Having said that though, I don't think its worth owning all these names. Infact, I would rather own kingabdullahcityhotels.com (available) or kingabdullahcityvacations.com(available) than owning the names in this guy's auction for which the developers can later claim ownership or choose to call their airport and seaport something else.

This strikes a note with me because there is a mega project underway in western Jamaica for which I already own the xxxxxhotels.com, xxxxx.vacation.com, xxxxxcondos.com, xxxxxrestaurants.com etc etc. This development comes to market in 2013 and I am already seeing a trickle of traffic in some names. Unlike this guys package, the name of the development is based on the town it is being built in, which has had its name since the 1800s so there is little chance of the developers later claiming ownership. I have always thought that maybe domainers should probably spend more time in our local county and city planning departments requesting info about the planned mega projects in our areas and less time sifting through the drop lists. I came into the game late, but it took me maybe 24hours, after setting up my Godaddy account, to realize that if I wanted to make real money in this thing I had to look ahead. Way ahead. I do occasionally flip the odd keyword name but I realize that won't make me Frank Schilling money. LOL

There are a lot of bids from people with 0 feedback. They are playing with you.

My "bet" is that it is some kind of money laundering scheme.

What are you all bitching about? HE'S OFFERING FREE SHIPPING!

lol Seriously, I do see logic in this. I have been an eBay seller for a few years and something I've noticed is that if an auction has numerous bids and is at a high price, ppl will notice it, whether they bid or not. In fact, your item would have better chances of selling for multiple bids if it has one bid within a day or so of the closing date. I think this seller is doing the same, using shill bidders to make this thing look enticing. I'd report this to eBay but eh, eBay doesn't give a damn about the sanctity of their service.
