I just want this thread deleted. You guys don't have to worry about me selling on this site anymore. That is why you should lets mods in on your PMs.
They may want to get to bottom of it. They work hard to keep this forum clean.
Has a buyer ever stolen a domain name from you that was worth $100+?You would need medical care if you weren't paid for a $100+ domain as I see how worked up you got over thinking you were losing a domain and cheated out of $9
You are the one who is outraged and trying to change policy for all future new members. That seems a bit extreme to me.
k-h-a-c-e . c-o-m without the hyphens. What’s the domain name ? I missed it thank you
How am I overreacting by trying to get this thread deleted. This is my top intention. You all keep coming back and engaging me. I just want this thread deleted.Outraged? Not at all. You're majorly overreacting. Seriously go chill out.
You really are making life very hard on yourself and will look back at this thread with a lot of regret.
I would love for him to try to sue me.Again I am stating facts... your buyer said they would transfer it back and then less than 20 minutes later you opened this post....
You claim I am defending a thief and even mention Namepros as if it is them you have a problem with too.. because they "ignored" you and wouldn't delete your post.... your post that, if outsiders saw, would hurt Namepros (who wouldn't delete it) and that the outsiders would be "flaggerbasted" whatever that means.
So what exactly are you trying to get them to delete? If you have proof that he faked a transfer, post it, instead of asking that they cover up the proof... if there is indeed 100% proof for everything you say, why cover it up? It it is taken to court in a case or lawsuit, discoveries would have to be made for the statements, and if they are in fact true and hold substantial proof of evidence, it wouldn't be that you are slandering the buyer. If they brought a libel lawsuit against you, and discoveries showed your evidence, they would lose.
If you brought a case against them for the $9 you'd be laughed at. If you tried to prove it was more valuable you'd probably still get laughed at because you tried to sell for $9 something you claim is of more value, and even then, where was your other true buyers over that value... in the USA your loss or theft would need to be greater than $20 to even open a case.
The idea of "theft" is (taken from Cornell EDU):
The generic term for all crimes in which a person intentionally takes personal property of another without permission or consent and with the intent to convert it to the taker's use (including potential sale). In many states, when the value of the property taken is low (for example, less than $500) the crime is "petty theft" and a misdemeanor; but it is "grand theft" and a felony for larger amounts. Theft is synonymous with "larceny." Although robbery (taking by force), burglary (taking after entering unlawfully), and embezzlement (stealing from an employer) are all commonly thought of as theft, they are distinguished by the means and methods used, and are separately designated as specific types of crimes in criminal charges and statutory punishments.
So in short, you probably wouldn't even be able to open a civil case against him, while he could (from what I see) open a case against you for trashing his name... you make a lot of flaring statements.... if you have proof post it when you say what it is you're saying.
Yes, and I swallowed the loss like a big boy and didn't whine. Things happen in life.Has a buyer ever stolen a domain name from you that was worth $100+?
So I was right. To be considered a good and rational person I have to let my domain names get stolen. Got it!My time is worth more then the $100 I would not spend tons of time on it, call it coward or whatever but sometimes things happen, I personally value my time to be worth $25 per hour so spending 5 or 6 hours on it in my opinion is a loss. You spent probably 4 hours or more on a $9 sale that's like a couple dollars and hour of your time, unless you think your time is really worth less then $3 an hour.
Consider doing deals through dan or dynadot, where when they pay they can use CC, Bank Account etc, and the domain is then pushed to them. Dynadot you could sell $9 they would give it as account credit though, min. cash-out to paypal is $100 there. I just cashed out a $142 from a sale the other day, the person got it through dynadot after paying and I was protected. So I was right. To be considered a good and rational person I have to let my domain names get stolen. Got it!
You all have to be upfront about this unspoken rule. It would help new members know that we are supposed to silently get our domain names stolen.
Where did you appeal for help privately? We are not seeing any record of you appealing for help, other than a request to delete the thread you created. Which you also did publicly already in this thread:That is what I did. I didn't add staff to the message but I did appeal for help privately. The message was ignored.

you didn’t want to sell a domain at that price.
