poll 12.12 or Double 12 shopping holiday in SE Asia and China

I've just read about the 12.12 shopping promotions in Asia that occur on and around December 12. Hoping to hear more info about this shopping day from folks that may know more about it. From what I've read it's second only to Singles Day in gross sales. That means more e-commerce sales than Black Friday/Cyber Monday in the US.

Is it called Double 12, Doubles Day or 12.12? What would be some of the keywords used for this holiday? Hoping to hear from the folks in Asia. @Kassey Lee would love to hear from you and your thoughts! Thanks all!

There's 11.11 in China but I have not heard of 12.12.

I hadn't heard of 12.12 shopping either, but I guess it's a thing in SE Asia. Maybe more prevalent in Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Thanks for your input!
