.tv #10 on the DNJournal Top 20: Liveshop.tv

First i want to say no, this is not my name (wish it was ). But LiveShop.TV took the #10 spot on the top 20 sales list at DNJ with $10,015 , and was sold @ Moniker/Domain Systems.

And Co-Starring Torque.TV selling for $3,450 over at Sedo.

WooHoo .TV's are starting to pick up pace, everyone hold and develop. Or even hold and speculate either way IHMO Hold on to your .TV's unless you really have to sell. and even then dont sell out to cheap.

Again, I am just shocked at how much liveshop.tv was sold for. I would have appraised it at reg fee, since it doesn't seem to mean much. Something like tech.tv would definitely be better... so I thought.

Absolutely!

For see.tv my girlfriend is checking new free tv streams regularly and she just mentioned yesterday that since a couple of weeks more than half the new streams are using .tv, some of them are mainly news sites with one tv stream and still using the .tv extension.

Just a few months ago most new tv sites had some .com name, but it is definitely turning around.

I agree with JYM, i personally think there are better names held by members of this forum . But as it has been said a domain is worth what the buyer is willing to pay to get the name they want . And I wonder why didn''t they get a premium name ?
But i'm excited none the less

I would guess that the owner of liveshop.com was the one who purchased it and is ready to do a marketing campaign and wants to have all the extensions covered.

It just goes to show that a domain is not always worth what we "pros" appraise it at, but what a person, or company is willing to pay for it.
