1 Number Domains

If you had the opportunity buy a 1 number domain in a ccTLD for less than $100/year, would you take opportunity? There are none available, but if there was, would you take the opportunity?

Considering that 1 number names are a lot rarer than 1 letter domains, are they considered more valuable?

There has only been 2 sales that I found:

0.cc sold for $15k
3.ag sold for $1,463

For less than $100/yr? Absolutely!

I regs. some solid keywords in quite a few ccTLD and the reg. fee are from $50 - $100 and sometimes I even pay that much when a domain hack caught my eyes.

Depends on the ccTLD - but assuming it's a second level domain, and not a co.__ or com.___, then quite possibly.

Yeah, I was only talking about 2nd level domains as they are more popular

Hi, where is the report of 0.cc sale? I want to know, thanks.

If you have a chance to reg a single char domain under $100 fee, go for it. Good luck!

0.cc is listed on Namebio as being sold May 23, 2007 on Sedo. Keep in mind that 0 is a particularly strong keyword for the .cc extension and I would presume that an eventual enduser would attempt to brand it as 0% APR on a credit card. It still seems quite high to me, however it certainly has more worth (strictly from development potential) than 1.cc, 2.cc, etc IMO.

In which case it was a steal by far.. that could easily be developed and a real money maker.

.cc would also be good for motorcycle enthusiasts ;)

Yup it all depends on what ccTLD. I would pay that much as long as the country is well known not like those islands ccTLD and it has to be a 2nd level.
