$1.5 Million in One Day: The April 4th Domain Sales Report That Will Change How You See .ai

NameBio recorded 698 domain sales at $100 or above on April 4th, 2026, generating a total volume of $1,468,306 and an average sale price of $2,104. The top sale of the day was Fragment.ai, which cleared $135,000 at Spaceship.com. Compared to the previous day, total sales count fell 2% but total dollar volume jumped 149%. An additional 2,262 sales occurred below $100, contributing $26,434 in volume. The .ai extension dominated premium transactions, accounting for the majority of the highest-priced individual sales recorded on this date. Mind blowing analysis here on post domain sales data.

Top Ten Domains sold of that day were .ai domains.

Phenomenal analysis! The 149% jump in dollar volume despite a slight dip in sales count is the ultimate indicator of a Quality-Driven Market.

The Fragment.ai sale at $135,000 isn't just a high-water mark; it’s a clear signal that end-users and top-tier investors are now treating premium .ai assets with the same reverence as legacy .coms.

We are seeing a massive shift where 'Liquidity' is chasing 'Scarcity.' When the average sale price hits $2,104, it sets a new floor for brandable domains. This data proves that the real value lies in short, memorable, and industry-specific names.

Thanks for sharing these insights—this is exactly the kind of fuel domainers need right now!

Thanks for your insightful, yet very valuable inputs. Such feedback always inspires to be more analytical to include more critical data in future domain sales analysis.

Pretty sure they batch report sales.

So, it's likely sales over a period of time reported on one day.

Brad
May be. But it is highly surprising to me. All Top Ten domains of that day are with .ai, sold in one platform, and most amazing part is price variation of $ 72000 (joyride. ai) to 135000 (fragment.ai). Not small amount.

YRN.ai yet somehow is neglected. I think the world of Namepros is part of the Truman Show & doesn't exist other than to mess with reality.

Really surprised again and unbelievable. Such a short 3L domain with .ai and listed at $1500 and still unsold?

No offers. That's why I'm convinced all this domain stuff isn't real and is just put out by a higher power to f with my head.

Domaining is such an unpredictable game, difficult to imagine. Few months back, I had analyzed about a domain (CallYourGirlFriend.com) was sold at $7000 (if I remember it perfectly).
