I am getting different results on the search for "Does Not". Assuming you are entering this phrase in quotes in google, I get:

"does not": 137,000,000
does not (without quotes): 195,000,000

So the quoted version (which is the only result from google worth discussing) has about ten times less volume than what is stated in the title.

When using google to assess volume of occurrence of a phrase, be sure to always include the phrase in quotes in the google search box.

Just out of curiosity, how did you get 1 billion hits from google? Even without quotes I only get a tiny fraction of that...

Thanks but, when i put "does not" with quotation it shows me that it has found 1,020,000,000 google results, and i am searching with google.com, not co.uk or any other.

Here i have attached the image of my search in google so you can all see that it is true

1 billion returns on google and I honestly can't see any value in this name undeveloped. For the simple fact, every single good .com domain and domain string has already been bought or tasted or thought of and forgotten.

Secondly, does not is not something that people search for. It is nothing more than two words that appear often in an english sentence.

i'm thinking who would search for Doesnot.com or Doesnot.net?

what would motivate user to check url Doesnot.com or Doesnot.net. Any service, product or any other thing.

but anyways good luck with it.

I agree, its a curious term to search for but you could have had some fun with it especially if it was the .com - doesnot.com/pute doesnot.com/ply :P

I cant think of any to go with .info or .net lol

1,320,000,000 - is what i get without quotes and with quotes i get - 1,060,000,000

Mid $xx i think - good luck with it

reg fee both.

Why?

What is the commercial application of this name? Just two random commonly used words thrown together do not necessarily have to be valuable. DoesNot.net does not mean anything, nor can I see any application of this name, unless someone comes with some brand named 'does not' (can't even see that happening).

Try and keep away from names that have no commercial sensibility, or even brandability.

This makes the most sense... like sasha says, why?

As for the google quotes thing, I just checked again, with www.google.com, regular english version, and get 140,000,000 for "does not" which was quite a bit different than a billion. I (of course) use Firefox as if that matters to google. Makes it hard to compare when the difference is off by a billion.
