$0.50 only for 20-30 clicks on video site?

Hi guys!

May users suggest me where am I going wrong... I am getting on average about 20-30 clicks and I am earning only $0.50 a day. This is ridiculous (what's wrong with google?)

I am so tired of this...are there any video site owners who are making more money with google adsense by using some techniques???

Please suggest. I am getting about 300-400 uniques a day and the website is around 2 months old. The niche is Indian & Bollywood Videos.

You know, based on a weird experience that I had the problem could be in the template.

I had a template which had 10-20 clicks per day and my adsense earnings were set at max 0.40$. Now, I switched the template on my website and I get 5 clicks from adsense but my earnings are over $1,50 on that specific site.

Sounds weird?

That's the cruel reality :D

If you post a link to your website, we may help you with more accurate information. $.50 for 20-30 clicks is indeed ridiculous.

If you target your keywords a bit better, your profit will go +.

Low paying niche to begin with and the majority of the traffic is from India. Combine the two and you get low epc returns. You can improve your return a little but don't expect a miracle. You may have to add more related type content to improve the bottom line. Things like DVD reviews, electronics etc.

The problem in your site is that it has a very low CTR rate (it must have considering the adsense placement). You've got only referral units there and some google links. The template is nice in therms of design and bad in therms of google ctr.

Secondly, I assume your site gets most traffic from asian countries (india, china etc.) considering your extension. Google dislikes these clicks. I'd recommend you switching from google adsense to something else like bidvertiser or adbrite.

I agree the ad placement could be better. Also it is displaying apply for CC with Citi and another one in PK.

I think this is happening because you are using some common contents , use some new contents and related keywords may be that will help you to earn more,..
