Hey
@Cannuck don't forget to send some of those walleyes to
@Domainace in Japan...
Yeah man, that's what what I'm talking about! Just caught me one of them and ate a tasty dinner (others were already frozen). Heck it was still kicking in the pan, lol. I've shipped fish on ice before, but Japan is a long way off. Sorry
@Domainace, you'll just have to come visit someday. Even
@GILSAN, hehe
My point earlier, not to be rude nor insulting, (nor am I apologetic, unlike most Canadians
), but rather in order to shed some light, thereby helping US all understand that we, as children of God, are granted the
choice to act, be it good (or evil), how to feel and live accordingly. (Grandfather is wise - it is the wolf you feed). I'll be the first to admit I'm no saint - far from it. Maybe I'm too idealistic, but I
chose the road less traveled, and that my friends, has made all the difference. We are an international crowd here afterall, and the world is small and life is too short to harbour hatred and draw lines in the sand.
In my mind, (small C) conservative means conserving nature for future generations to live full lives - free of tyranny and war. I feel that many today are plagued with fear and doubt, confused by the events surrounding them. If somehow we can find solace in quiet places, free of mind-numbing media, learn to communicate with one another, then I believe, then, the world would be a better place for ourselves and for our children's children
Namaste and miigwetch
