“Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.” - RGB
It's exposes how a lot of people, including liberals thought in the 1960's. Snopes doing it's job spinning to protect liberals.
Let's see if there can actually be serious discussion here. For you or anybody that supports the government telling you what you can do with your body.
Does your caring stop at birth? I've noticed not one touching the adoption stuff I brought up.
Abortion if overturned is still going to happen. Underground, illegal, more dangerous.
What if your mother, wife, sister, daughter etc. were raped. Would abortion be an option, or would you force them to carry a child that came from rape?
What about life of mother? Does the mother have to die so the child lives?
What happens with those 60 million abortions?
Are you going to adopt? Kids waiting to be adopted now.
Group homes, foster care. Some are good, then some are bad, some true horror stories. Abuse, being passed around from home to home. Is this good for a child?
What about a child born to somebody with addiction problems? Parents that don't want them? Financial issues? Not a great way for a child to grow up. More likely to have problems, crime issues etc.
So back to my original question, does your caring stop at birth?
