The last one also has 4 memory banks so I could upgrade if I wanted, it also has enough space for a Raid configuration ASWELL as the CD drive, whereas the second one hasn't... of course, the price listed already being without RAID or 4 gb RAM, its already the most expensive... so what do you think, I am looking for the best one for gaming but also with the capibility to perform well in ordinary tasks... as well as having the best value. I am not too sure about the second one though, as if I wished to use any CD/DVDs(I do) I dont have the possibility of Raid, and one of the reasons why I like the last one is for the upgradability... with that sort of money you cant get a new notebook everytime standars rise... its cheaper to upgrade (eg. if games started requiring a min of 3gb ram in the next year, its not gonna happen... but you never know...!)

Thanks,
Chael

P.S please do not worry about software/OS selection in the quotes, I can get them far cheaper from other places so I didnt put much thought into on there...

I'd choose C if I had to take one of the 3 models you listed above.

Whatever happened to brands like Toshiba or Lenovo/ IBM though? I know Toshiba specs some of their Tecra models with 2gb ram (expandable to 4gb) and 120 gb hdd's. In addition to that you get a C2D cpu, nothing can beat that when it comes to notebooks. I do realize you want 17" or larger display so take a look at the Toshiba Qosmio series also.

If that's not of your interest, go for C! :)

I choose B because of the Intel Core 2 Duo.

B because of the bigger hard drive space.

I'd go with ... C.

I think for gaming, you'd want a bigger screen, and I would sacrifice some HDD space for that.

Good Luck :tu: !
