I want a new laptop and the one I found to be the perfect match was the Fujitsu Siemens S7020. BUT, I am still debating wether I should get the supreme or basic edition. The only difference between the two editions is that the Supreme edition has a SXGA - 1400x1050 resolution while the basic edition ONLY has a XGA - 1024x768 resolution.

What do you guys think? The price difference is about $250-$300. Is it worth the extra money? I could need the extra space to work with on the screen since I do a lot of web related work, photoshop, apache, mysql, various web programming among other things.

The general specs of the supreme edition are as follows:

Processor: Pentium M 750 (1,86 GHz) 2MB SLC
Screen: 14.1''SXGA+ TFT (1400 x 1050)
GFX Card: Intel 900 - do 128MB(DMVT)
Memory: 1GB Ram (2x512MB) DDR2-533 SDRAM Dual Channel
Harddrive: 80GB HDD 5400 rpm SATA
Media: DVD+/-RW DL
Connection: V92 / GBLAN / WLAN b/g / Bluetooth
Operating System: Win XP Professional
Weight: 1.74kg
Warranty: 1year (I'll extend to 3 years)

A picture of the wonder (warning - large file)

Price - about $2324 dollars

What should I do? Go for the supreme edition or for the basic edition?

If you really care for maximum performance and maximum image resolution, I'd say grab the supreme edition :)
