Totally agree with you. Can't understand why some folks talking about a 'trend' (which is over).
Metaverse is in its little steps on its way to be huge which it defenetly will be (in 5-10 years) in my opinion.
I'll defenetly hodl and see what's coming.

The trend is only over for mediocre names. Names like metagame// com & metabet// com will get more valuable the longer the owner holds..

Also in other news I found out the buyer of one of my meta*** .io names is the owner of metabet// com.

From my research he seems to have mistakenly dropped this name (forgot to renew) & bought it back from me for mid $xxxx after a month. I only found out when using a prospecting tool. I bought it via auction for $260..

Metabet is expiring sometime this year 3 months) & seems he's had it since like 2014. I'll try contact him to renew it for 10 years before he forgets to renew this 7 figure name lol..

Bought for about $200 on expired auctions last week. Also regged the .net..

SLAM (simultaneous localisation and mapping) is one of the most important technologies for the future of robotics, metaverse, computer vision, geospatial mapping, augmented reality, digital twins, IOT, autonomous vehicles, drones etc..

Discovered that FB has a product called "SLAM" which has been doing research on this tech for the last few years for their AR stuff. Couldn't find much about it but it was referenced in one of their research articles from 2017 I think..

I'm almost 100% sure that metaSLAM will become a new term within the SLAM space soon. There are already terms like visualSLAM, audioSLAM, graphSLAM, fastSLAM etc..

Slam also is suitable for a metaverse gaming brand i.e slam dunk..

If more people did their research I know this won't have gone for only $200 at auction because in the surface it looks like slam is just another random word..

I've seen shit metaverse keywords go for a lot more in aftermarket. Like someone bought "clothesverse" for about $700 few weeks ago due to metaverse fashion hype lol. Won't sell this for less than 6 figs lol..
