I like doing outbound marketing for my domains, and some part of this process is limited to available data which is only Persons Names and / or Telephone Numbers.

As I'm not a USA or Europe resident, and assume that the prospect buyers may be mainly in USA and / or anywhere in the world wide.

so if I want to speak to these prospect buyers, (in case I need to that) my question is :

- How to know if the telephone number is for a mobile or a land line. is there an easy or fast tool for that.
- What is the cheapest way to call them and what internet tools to use.
- How to do it in general information need.
- What other ideas do you have and / or suggest.

I appreciate if you can answer any of my questions or all of whatever you know.
Thanks

I would advise against cold calling to sell names. If anyone cold calls me to sell anything, then they get a mouthful of extreme abuse. That seems to have got me onto a "don't call" list, and that suits me. :)

The telephone number in my domain regs is for an active mobile that I never take with me. I use it to sign up for supermarket promotions as well, so calling it will just be a waste of money.

I think he is talking about sales calls, not prospective buyers.

Thanks @Kuffy & @frank-germany for your inputs. I'm sorry if I was not clear for my request or not explaining right what I need, but let me say it in other way.

- I own a domain name.
- I want to sell it
- I searched Google and found what looks like a buyer for my domain.
- I found only a person name and his telephone ( no website , no email )
- I want to speak to him using telephone.
- I'm not living in USA
- The person lives in USA
- HOW (don't tell me use my land telephone or my mobile to call him), I'm asking a cheap practical way or an internet tool or service?

P.S. I may need to do this few times daily.

Thanks for your sharing,

You can use skype credits or something called MagicJack (gives you an American or Canadian telephone number for a yearly fee)

Just make call and be polite without trademark name then do not call. But to call make a good offer or do not bother

You can get a google voice number and enjoy free calls to US (Google how to get one if you are outside US)
Alternatively you can get a Skype number or any other similar service to do cheap call to US.
