Hey Folks,

I've just started using squadhelp.com to list some of my brandable. So far I have 76 domains listed, there is no fee to list. I've had some decent action so far in the way of interested buyers but no sales as of yet. I've only been with them for 1 week now.

A bit of a summary review of SquadHelp:

PROS
  • No Listing fee
  • No Logo design fee
  • Ability to submit your names to end users holding naming contests
  • Ability to chat directly or send a message directly to end users.
  • Stats of your marketplace domains are shown in the marketplace dashboard.
  • Their customer service and support has been great, 24hr a day chat.
  • Ability to increase or decrease the list price of your domains or to show a discount. You can decrease or increase the price yourself by $200. If you want to lower more, you can contact support.
  • End users can shortlist your domains before they make a decision on which they want to purchase. The number of shortlists is shown in you marketplace dashboard.
  • When you submit your names you get to set the price you wish to get. Because their commissions are high I recommend listing at a higher price to offset the commission costs.
  • Their landing pages are fairly basic but they work. Because the marketplace is fairly new, I'm sure we will see style improvements in the future.
  • One thing I really like is they accept multiple extensions. I have listed .co and .io along with .com
  • Each seller gets a direct link to their marketplace portfolio, HERES MY PORTFOLIO. It is handy if your trying to p[promote your portfolio through social media.
  • I like that their marketplace doesn't have tens of thousands domain listings like BB. They are fairly strict on the domains they accept to list and so this helps keep the number of domains in the marketplace down and gets your listings more exposure.
CONS
  • Their commissions are very high, depending on the domain name they are usually between 30% and 35%. However, there are no listing fees, no logo design fees, so in the end their commission is very similar to brand buckets.
  • Their logos are not top quality, in fact I requested to have some of my logos remade.
  • I think they have a big backlog of logos to design, the wait time for logo design has been around 1 week, but your names are still listed while the logos are being designed.
  • After your names are accepted you need to agree to their commission rate, at this point you also need to apply your own keywords, descriptions etc. I found this was very time consuming.

Atom are also leaking portfolio ownership and owner identity by including a unique owner identity number in the publicly visible source code of each landing page in that person's portfolio.

They seem unwilling to remove the code - what possible purpose does it have other than to assist scrapers, snoopers and UDRP cases?

Atom already know who is listing a domain with them, they don't need to post a public reminder to themselves - it is there for all the world to see.
@Atom.com when are you going to REMOVE THIS UNNECESSARY AND DANGEROUS PUBLIC PERSONAL ID from sellers landing pages?

I don't think you ever told users you would be linking their whole portfolio publicly in this way, and you certainly did not tell us you would also be automatically creating portfolio linkage between domains by unexpectedly publicly linking domains via bundle keywords found in their domains.

Atom is feeling like an increasingly risky proposition.

Thanks, everyone, for the thoughtful feedback on Domain Bundles. We’ve already made a few updates based on this thread.

Matching now covers more pairs
Bundles now also match:
  • domain.ai with domainai.com
  • domain.now with domainnow.com
  • domain.com with domains.com (singular and plural .com)
These link up with same-name matches, so domain.ai, domain.si and domainai.com form one set. We only ever group names that are all in the same seller’s account.

You can opt out of bundles
Go to Settings › Selling and turn on Opt-out of Domain Bundles: https://www.atom.com/marketplace/settings/selling
Buyers then stop seeing your matching names together. Any discount bundle you create yourself still shows. There’s also a separate switch for bundle emails. For now the setting covers your whole account; per-set control is currently not possible.

A Bundles overview page
Open My Domain Listings and click Bundles at the top of the page (in the grid view), or go straight to https://www.atom.com/dashboard/domains/bundles. It lists every matching set in your portfolio, with what buyers pay and each set’s status. Tick as many sets as you like and apply a discount to all of them in one go. A second tab shows which of your .ai names still have the matching .si available to register.

FAQ in the help article
We’ve added an FAQ answering most of the questions here, with worked examples: https://www.atom.com/help/article/domain-bundles-sell-the-same-name-on-several-extensions-together

The short version:
  • Repricing: the discount is a percentage of current prices, so the bundle price updates automatically whenever you change a domain’s price. It never goes stale.
  • Splitting the price: each domain becomes its own order with a share in proportion to its list price. A $2,000 and a $4,000 domain sold together for $5,000 are credited $1,667 and $3,333.
  • Commission: charged per domain on its share, at that domain’s own rate. In a Premium + Standard bundle, the Premium share pays the Premium rate and the Standard share the Standard rate.
  • NameBio: each domain is reported as its own sale at its share, the same ratio-of-list-prices approach Michael described above.
  • Discount cap: up to 50% for Standard and Plus, or 25% when a bundle includes a Premium listing, checked when you create or edit the bundle.
  • Corner cases: a bundle switches off automatically if any domain sells on its own (including wholesale, as soon as the wholesale payment lands, is delisted, moves to another account, changes to Make Offer or Request Price, or is no longer verified. Remaining matching names go back to being shown together at full price.
  • Transfers: each domain transfers on its own, so a 60-day lock or a ccTLD’s registrant rules on one domain don’t hold up the others. If one can’t be delivered, the buyer is refunded that domain’s share and the rest completes.

Thanks for flagging this. The seller ID that used to appear in lander page source was removed few weeks ago and no longer appears on any listing page; if you’re still seeing it, it’s likely a cached copy - please share any example with our support team so we can look into it further.

Regarding Bundles, you can switch off matching-name sets in Settings > Selling, which removes them from your landers, checkout, and bundle emails. Bundles you create yourself with a discount will still show, since you’ve chosen to offer those names together.

@Atom.com
You've done so much work on our behalf that all that remains is for me to set bundle pricing. yay!
Except let's say I want to opt out of a dozen of 362 bundles

Screenshot 2026-10-15 at 7.14.18 AM.png

The way you've set up the Opt-out, I have to opt-out of all 362 and manually re-add them 1 by 1. Ugh.

Can you please add a way to allow us to turn off a single bundle (or name) manually? Using my example, I could then manually remove 12 (or perhaps it's 24) names - leaving me with 350 Bundles to set a discount for. Significantly less work than opting out of all and manually re-adding 362 one at a time.
Pretty please?

If you can't do this - seems to me the easier option for me is to delete the other half of the bundle off Atom (when I don't want it to show). I'd much rather keep those names on your platform with the solution mentioned above. But removing a small number is easier than manually adding 350+

Note that .si domain holder info, at least email address, is publicly available knowledge, and when you bundle these with your other domains, the privacy of the latter are "compromised". I don't mind, but everyone should be aware of this.

@Atom.com can you add a filter for Bundles? So buyers can search for them if they want?

Maybe a quick filter (if warranted) or at least in the side bar

What's the community's take on this mixing of (thicker) serif and sans-serif fonts? (in addition to different sld-tld font weights)

ifjidfidjfijfd.png

Yes I know it's a solution to a known problem, but maybe serifs could be more subtle? And this solution is unnecessary after that aforementioned uppercase+lowercase addition, which I'm not seeing now.

Thanks for improving the Domain Bundles feature, @Atom.com.

A few more questions and suggestions.

How does the system handle manually configured discounts that may already exist for a given domain, in combination with any discount provided via the Domain Bundle? If it becomes a duplicate, that could mean too much of a discount.

Is my observation correct that on the lander, the Domain Bundle option is displayed only for the highest-priced domain and not on the lander of the lower-priced domain? For example, I have a couple of Premium domains here. The highest-priced one shows the other domain in the Domain Bundle, but this is not shown on the other Premium domain with the lower price.

To further enhance ease of use, I suggest that discounts be configurable directly from the Domain Bundles overview page (for instance, via a drop-down menu) thereby eliminating the need to navigate to the domain details page and back again. This would represent an improvement, particularly on mobile view.

On the Domain Bundles overview page, small icons can be added for each domain to indicate whether it's a Premium, Plus, or Standard listing.

Opt in, not opt out.

Remeber the AN Boost fiasco?

Opt in, not opt out.

This is a confusing one, as it says "Opt OUT of Domain Bundles/Emails" with a greyed-out slider, which I would assume means you're already opted in, and by clicking the Slider to ON, this disables the Bundles feature.

Why didn't they just use an "Opt In" statement instead, as this double-negative stuff can be confusing.

I see a bundle price for both of my domains (.ai and .si), not just one way. Which, is how I think it should behave. Although I'm always for toggles/choice if others feel differently

In my example, I'm dealing with two Premium .com domains, one singular and one plural. My guess is that the significant price difference between them may have caused the system not to display the Domain Bundle option on the heavily discounted domain lander. However, that's just speculation on my part, and I don't know for sure. I hope @Atom.com can clarify.

I have one at $50k and the other at $12k and it shows a bundle if you start at the lower priced name

Thats interesting to me that they are bundling plural and singular. They are not always the same thing.
Gene can be different than Genes.
Are they also going to bundle gerund, past tense, etc along with singular?
Not sure I'd recommend this as a blanket way of doing it @Atom.com .

Same exact name in a different TLD and keyword+ai, keyword+si, keyword+now, in .com, etc make perfect sense though.

I now see a little "hide" button, which is a nice way of carving out names we don't want to show. Thanks @Atom.com !!

Next up on the suggestion list is when we have more than 2 names showing within a bundle.
Sometimes I have .ai and keywordai.com and want that to show as a bundle. But in some cases I may also have the exact match in .org., .xyz, .dev or .app, etc. I don't want to show these but DO want to show the two "ai" versions. So what we need is a way to choose certain names (not all) when there is more than 2. "hide" only works in totality - which is fine when there is just two. But when there is more we have no option to show just a pair. Can this functionality be added?

I second this @Atom.com
To bundle price we have to click from the bundle page into the names detail page and then go back to the bundle page to do the next name. It'd be great if we could, like we do in our dashboard, have the ability to edit {bundle} pricing right within the bundle page (no going back and forth).

@Atom.com When a buyer buys a domain bundle, I guess LTO will not be available, even if it was configured for individual domains within the bundle, is that correct?
