I'd be ready to let 9TLD (.com) go if it's worth it to me.
Right now I was using it as a way to promote my site (home of the $9 Top Level Domain), but as ICANN is screwing that all up for me with a required rate hike soon, I won't be able to say that anymore. Well, not about traditional TLDs, anyway, ccTLD names like US and dot company or dot business nTLDs will still work with it, so if you are excited about those names (I'm not because ICANN flooded the market with competing extensions like car, auto, autos & photo, photos, photography, pictures, gallery, etc... at unreal registration prices and charges highway robbery for premium names - even in renewal).
So there you go, it can have an upside, but I have always been selling to web designers/developers, online pros & webmasters that knew there was too much spam elsewhere and just wanted good prices and attentive support.
Thanks, hopefully someone is interested in making this worth my while.
Oh, where is it? LOL, at Domain Hostmaster. Expiration? 11/4/2020.
