domains The Domain Show – New Dates July 24-26 2020 Will A Virtual Conference work?

Edit Page emailed me that the team put the wrong date on You Tube so it's July 23 to July 25.

A domain show could be done on zoom or youtube livesrream

But the problem with the domain name industry in general is tgat many still think only .com domains should exist but the domain industry has moved on to gtlds and emoji etc

I like online things and I never attended to a real domaining conference but i feel that online events can't be like the one where you meet people face to face...
I always felt conferences like the opportunities to put a face on a forum avatar... And maybe an opportunity to share a beer with fellow domainers with a having also a real touch....
I think digital events can't substitute 100% the real ones

Good point, obviously this is because of the times. Will people do it for one year? So far in the poll in domain discussion, no one is willing to pay for this. So maybe they just don't happen.

You are right that when you look at domaining it's all done online, so the conference is cool to meet in person. Other industries you see people all the time so virtual is something different.
