Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Handreg as soon as it dropped. Lux as a suffix has some decent sales so I plan on holding this one until I get the price I'm looking for.

Other than the vReal domain sale I’ve never heard of this company, so haven’t been doing that much to say how much money they raised.

Truth is though same thing will happen to most of these companies (vReal/VRideo etc) VR isn’t profitable yet, when you look at the potential of VR, the companies who probably go on to be at the forefront of VR sometime within the next decade probably aren’t even in business yet.

They approached me about buying the .com when they were just starting out and using the .io, but once they acquired the .net they pretty much lost interest in the .com.

Not having the .com sure didn’t help.

From my knowledge and limited dealings with them, it seemed that management were more tech-oriented and they didn't understand or value the marketing aspect of their business. You only had to look at their avatars and uninspiring website to see this. They should have taken a look at Magic Leap's marketing for inspiration. I also think that they weren't 100% committed to the project.
I think these factors contributed to their lack of traction and not being able to pivot or find someone to buy them out.

Recently I discovered that there are virtual models/influencers that are use for marketing especially in instagram. Virtual models are "incredibly realistic computer generated people." And according to some this trend will continue in the future.

I have VirtualModel.org and virtualMoadel.io also VRracing.net what do you guys think?

If its .com then best to hold with this name in your case it's .co so you have to decide what's best for you and how much is your risk quotient i do not know.

One more last option is to try Grit Brokerage by asking @Brian Harbin and if he accept to broker your domain then you have some chances to maybe sell them. But i doubt if they broker Adult website.

Brain Harbin has brokered good domains and lot of them has one word .co(Data taken from GritBrokerage.com but none Adult at least from the website information).

So even though the website is Adult name your only best bet is to give it a try with Brain Harbin.

Else go the tough route if you can take the risk and hold it.

Cheers
