We all have our pet hates in life, mine include stepping in dog crap and Phillip Schofield :xf.confused:

In the domain sense I have regged several names and the previous owner has failed to remove them from market places creating more work for me which means this has now been added to my list......

Do you have any pet hates? -Try and keep them domain related or include just one outside this sphere!

(Not Domain related)
Incorrect Timelines in movie biopics :banghead:

Just watched Bohemian Rhapsody last night and a lot of their Timelines of events were wrong.
Yeah man, one of the earliest scenes had Queen doing Fat Bottomed Girls live.

:banghead:

Exactly, and they showed that they came up with We are the Champions in 1980 not 1977 :arghh:

I was looking through the request thread and the amount of people who can't follow simple instructions and read the simple requests is mind boggling :woot:

I mean if you have something that does match the criteria why would you think it is going to appeal to that person?

I am not talking about grey areas here, I have submitted names which could or could not of been suitable, dependent on the posters preferences but always with the right intentions and not just delusional hope......

No reply for me says it all when I message someone :xf.smile: but I do feel for the people who are bombarded with completely irrelevant shi*e

READ THE BLOODY REQUESTS PEOPLE.........it is not hard and you will not stick out like a *****

rant over

And, by the way, what I forgot to sayyy

In most cases (like in yours above) it was not me who brought it (the domain) up in different threads.
In most cases it was someone other (like you above) who brought it (the domain) up.
In
most cases I was simply reacting to it (to someones post about the domain) if this was needed (like now).

@ moderation

I am sure you share the view that everyone has the right to defend himself if someone accuses him of something.

So I recommend to not delete dande's / my posts as these posts will just lead the community to a better understanding of the thematised point.
Our short conversation is like a "warning" for others to not bring my domain up if they "pet hate" it because it will most probably just result in a reply from my side (like happened here).

Why did you include my handle since you seem concerned about being discredited but what are you implying?

 Sorryyy

This was not intended and can only be an editing - mistake that obviously seem to be happened when I was creating my post - your handle should not be there, it should be my own handle of course as I was intended to quote myself (the content is right, the handle not).

I was indeed not realizing it, thanks for bringing it uppp

I agree, and it's not just the respondents who don't seem to be able to figure out the rules. My pet peeve is NP members who don't post a budget in the thread (and Amanda has to call them out), or post a per-domain budget that is clearly w-a-y under what they have tagged in the post description. Posting a "$5000" budget in the title, and then saying "$5 to $10 per domain, I have a max budget of $5000"... Yeah, right.... NP rules are clear that the post title must reflect the per-domain budget and not some mythical "up to..." budget for multiple purchases.

I certainly would never jeopardize the opportunity for a keywords precedence to be raised as I am in the business of domains. I also realise your mistake with copy past delete etc..

People who feel the need to tell me about their "journey".
Just for the record, it's a pet peeve not a hate.

But I do hate pistachio ice cream.

I came across this term "pet hates" or "pet peeves" for the first time...

Still don't have a clear idea what it's exact meaning...

But after reading all the comments...I suppose most annoying things related to domains are being posted here...

So I give my opinions..

* People who are first to respond (respond can be read as react) in comments only to ridicule/make fun/prove their sarcastic talent without giving any useful answer/guidance

* The numerous threads being opened for each niche...no no category...no no no sub category...it doesn't make any sense to have threads started for smallest topic of a gigantic concept..

Please don't open a thread about..
- showcase and discuss your names related to $1 currency note
........ $10 .......$50 ........$100
(By the way it is not the price...it is the example for topic)

And many of them already exists...just they want to get some likes so the person starts one more thread...
And our great fellow members without even saying anything about double thread...they simply post in both threads to get more likes (I don't know may be some "like parking" is being generated) !!

These threads are making other important and useful threads to go to last pages...

I clicked ignore for some people due to same reason...

The next reason I ignore some because they qualify with their ridiculous buyer requests...and repeatedly posting requests and the trade score still remains "0"

You just observe some regularly (monthly) post in buyer requests..we can't find whether any purchase happened..

These two categories are fighting FOMO by opening threads...and eating up our time and space..

* Few people will always write in some English (not even be called as slang)...that is hard to read...no no it is not about completed sale report or trying to beat the bots...it is just their way of regular communication... without any valid reason for the same.
* Some people just say something nasty / mean and simply add "imo" at the end...like it justifies everything they said.

***************************

I am from India and I never use bro in my writing or normal communication...

It is common between friends in college life or people who became friends in workplace... mainly from IT & Software background..

And yes it does have influence from Hollywood movies...and also Indian movies...youth definitely take a lot from movies..

Yes, that's important of course, I am normally very careful too - but, as we all know, exceptions confirming the rule. And... ...I assume, you (additionally) got a notification as I (mistakenly) "quoted you" while I (logically) did not get one.
