Inspired by a recent thread, I'll be writing an article for the NamePros blog asking several people the question: What's your favourite domain name you own?

If you'd like the chance to be included in this article, please reply below over the next few days with your favourite domain from your own portfolio, along with why it's your personal favourite.

OpenNetwork/com
With all key Social Media handles. Also own the nGTLD Open.Network. I still use it as email and on twitter.

Not my best but definitely my favorite as a big open source fan. There's a bit of a story behind this one. I bought it in 2009. I was in the US Army back then stationed in Afghanistan. I remember I was out on a mission and got back on base to my bhut just in time to get my bid in during the auction. Then I had to convince Sedo I was not a scammer since my i.p address was coming from Afghanistan to make payment.

That said, you're not suppose to love a domain but I love this one lol and have turned down many offers for it. She was my first big purchase. I love her and don't want to let her go. :D

" World Metal Exchange .com"

It was a domain used by WorldNews (WN.com) news for news on gold, silver, metal investing and trading .

What i like about it ?

1. There are many back-links, in-links and industry-related visitors. I transformed the site to list related domains for sale. And have got quite some good in-bound domain sales, just by showcasing.

2. Many registered companies by the name

3. Also talks of establishing separate "WorldMetalExchange" outside "LondonMetalExchange" after Brexit. More people into gold-silver and metal investments with fluctuating global currency

DNorbit.com - .com category

VRgaming.blog - new Gtld category

For these two I received most positive feedback from fellow domainers. Vox populi, vox Dei...:)

Also, vrgaming.blog - standard renewal, gaming.blog - $130,000.00 /year.

IDN - π.cοm.pl
Math geek, I thought it would be kewl to own Pi and this was decent extension available at reasonable yearly cost AND I waited on purpose to register it on Pi Day (March 14 - 3/14) Also Math Geek joke if I write it with slug as π.com.pl/ete it reads like Pi Complete which is false as π is infinite : only geeks are laughing :
Registered on Pi Day--that's awesome!

Welcome to NP, Kentucky2233
Looks like you've already chosen your favorite extension, perhaps we'll see a favorite domain out of you sometime!

I have so many domains that I love. Its really difficult to choose just one.

.com - MVYZ
Reminds me of movies.

.net - YENN
Reminds me of money.

.org - GEMM
Great back story of a company that grew to the top but the partners fell apart. Stands for Global Electronic Music Marketing. Sad story in the end. One of the partners still holds the .com.

I have so many others but these popped into my head.

The funniest part was I thought of in in February then I had to wait on purpose and hope no one else thought of it! The other concern was I wasn't sure exactly how the registration timestamp was calculated - would it be Poland time or the time of my registrar which in this case was Hexonet and they have offices in Germany and Canada.

What's MORE impressive (to me) with your favorite @HotKey is your ccTLD, short = awesome, phooey on dot com : wink :

Hah! You found that, did you? So much more to some names than meets the eye...

And yes, waiting for a certain date to put in a registration can be nail-biting for sure, I feel ya. There's a couple of cannabis-related names that I had specifically waited until 4/20 to register..talk about suspense.

My favorite hand reg is probably TouchLens. Not the best one but I think it has futuristic sound to it.
But if I had to choose one name I would pick VRTown.

My favourites will probably have to be...

Prank.cam
Tourist.cam

I personally think the single word is a great fit with the extension

I know the .cam extension is new and hasnt really related into any sales yet but i will be holding onto these ones for a few years as i think one day they could be worth something.
