A popular, and currently trending thread / poll happening right now on NamePros is, What is the best registrar in the business?

Now, I understand this may seem like a trivial post. But I think being voted the best registrar in the business by NamePros members is a HUGE accomplishment. Thus, I want to clarify that NamePros (the leading preventer of marketplace fraud) is in full compliance with monitoring any potential (for lack of a better word) voter fraud. Now, I am in no way suggesting that the Russians are trying to influence this important poll, nor is this an election, so the term voter fraud might not be entirely relevant. Nonetheless, this is [IMO] a very important poll, and I want to make sure the rules are clear.

Security questions for the poll compliance authority to consider...
  • Are new account creations being monitored? ie If 100 employee's (of a registrar) create their own legitimate account, and the only activity they do is vote on the registrar poll, is this allowed?
  • Can somebody with a business account and a personal account use both accounts to vote twice?

We have in the past but it's not a guarantee that we will:

If time permits, we may.

In short, we don't do anything special with polls, but our fraud measures (blocking VPN's/proxies, closing duplicate accounts, etc.) lend themselves well to having very accurate poll results compared to any other similar service that is open to voting from anyone.

Hope that helps,
