Got a bite on my domain Y*A*sh*Turaa (Remove *) in king. It means buy. Been busy so did not reply back. my bad. it's a godaddy broker reaching out even though my whois is never private.
so Whale? or just someone not knowledgeable about how to buy domains?
I always wonder and suspect when someone hires a broker it's a WHALE and if so $700 offer might be someone trying to pull a fast one.
or could be an honest offer.
also it's an arabic domain. I hear on here that Arabs don't really value Domains in general. that they don't "get it" and would rather go with some other name.
But if we talking about Arabs. the word BUY has to have some value to them. Oil Rich as they are. or no?
problem too is that the Arabic language when worded out using western characters even Google shows multiple variations. I guess depending on the region of the middle east someone comes from.
I've shown some Arabic friends (usually food vendors as I DO LOVE Halal Gyro's and Kufta. YUM!) the word of my domain. and they always agree it means BUY.
So what should be my counter offer here? I can't talk to the actually buyer as they have hidden themselves using Google.
I wondered too in these situations if "sweetening the pot" for the Godaddy broker by giving the broker 5%-10% commission as an incentive to "convince" the buyer to agree to a high price like $10,000 would be a good idea?
Also I hear that not much "Bites" on Arabic words (western characters)because Arabs are very frugal and don't really understand why domains cost so much. so this might be my last chance to sell.
Should I sell at $700? or ask for more? $1000?$2500?$3000? (these are prices I see typically over at hugedomains and buydomains. granted they are not arabic word domains.)
mine is not a short 4L like souq in king. but it is an EMD.
I don't mind selling at $700 but this whole Godaddy broker thing makes me suspect it's a whale or is that wrong to think?
NP Thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Edit: lol my bad the domain is misspelled. Remove the A replace with U. see that? I really don't know anything about Arabic Language. lol
