Well, estibot.com estimates its value at $60... which is about as much as you can expect to sell it for here on NP. Not that I would put much stock in estibot's appraisals, which are all over the board and no info on their rationale/algorithms whatsoever! I manage a dozen 5L chips - estibot valued at zero $$ all of them except one (FDHDF.com), which is... $920! Sick! ;)

Given it is a classic brandable, you might want to try your luck with BB. They are likely to list it in the vicinity of $2,000. No idea how domain age figures in BB's valuations, if at all.

I manage 400+ similar 5L and 6L brandables. I value each of them at $1800 ;)

only issue with BB is the time to sell there is horrendously long. Flippa you can for sure auction it to someone for around 5 or 6 hundred.

Pronunciation is identical to a major trademark, Aldi supermarkets, so I doubt Brandbucket would accept the submission.

Just wanted to correct my earlier post: my "appraisal" is a little off due to @viralk's misrepresentation of the age of this domain (”14 years old"), which in fact has been registered in July 2016. Tried explaining the facts of (domain) life ;) to him in PM, but seems like he stands by his impression that a recently registered domain's age counts from date of its first registration way back when.

HKIBC thanks for your feedback!

the domain was first registered on FEB,2002 so it make me think i am correct practically
you can also check wayback machine on archieve dot org and see it yourself.

I appreciate your efforts HKIBC to show the domainers right path.

thanks

Empty "bump"? Is this an Indian thing or just you? ;)

In Mainland China, we have honkers. Many drivers honk like there' no tomorrow. Small, empty road between villages. No traffic. Driver honking every few seconds. Empty highway, same thing... honk... honk... honk... My guess is, been doing it all his life, so developed into a nervous tick.

Just asking :lookaround:

The age is 3 months old. That's how it works in this business.
You have this name in auction here too, don't you?
Since you have a bid, it does matter what the appraisal is.
Also see you posted this name for sale in the 5L chip thread. This is not a chip, that's considered spamming
Hey you got $1 for it, at least

Interesting point. So what's the definition of a 5L.com "chip" exactly?

Are there 5L .NET and .ORG "chips"?

Most people here calling any 5L.com with meaningless sequence of letters "Chinese chips" - so, is that spamming, too?

My finger's just itching to try out the REPORT button ;)

Encouraging business is our thing honking may be your thing.
I think you don't like new startups and like to trash them.

Is this totally you Hkibc.

Bumping often is considered spamming, not encouraging business. Anyways, besides the point I was trying to make here... bumping 4 minutes following your own post seems, well... idiotic. Sorry, no offense, just can't think of another, more polite word for such useless practice (employed in your other threads as well). Tried to get the thought across jokingly, but from your indignant reaction, obviously wasted effort. Sorry. Anyways, that's just me. I'm pretty new here, too. Nobody else seems to mind... carry on bumping... :-,
