There have been massive number of registrations across several new gTLDs that have been released.
Some of them being .XYZ, .CLUB, .Wang, .Win etc.

What is your favourite new gTLD so far and what makes it your favourite?

As for me, .CLUB is the best new gTLD that I believe will go a long way. Club depicts a community and goes with a lot of keywords like sports, sports person(kind of like a fan club), superstars and famous personalities and so on and hence, a lot of keywords makes sense when combined with .Club.

What is your favourite new gtld and how many domains did you buy for that extension?

If I had to pick 3 newTLD it would be:

.io= since almost everything in life seems consist of "Input and Out" tracked and counted.
.vip= because I treat everybody as "vip" and people like to be treated like one.
.store= Either big or small store; it is a must to have. It provides us our daily needs.

I think .xyz is the best, and I explain why.
Of couse if it is a "domain hack" then any extension will be OK.
But it we talk about "just the best extension" I devide people in 2 groups: english speaking and non english speaking.
Non english speaking just remember .com and thier country extension, so if I say to my potencial client to check my website at mywebsite.vip or .top or .club or .online or whatever else, they will forget it and will type mywebsite.com or mywebsite.es (for example). they dont know what doesn mean .top or .vip and so on...
OK, english speaking ones..
Normally just domainers know about all these new extensions, so if I say to my potencial client my website with some new extension like .top or .vip or .web ... they will just remembering it was "something like number one or unique or the best..." but will not remember the right extension.
It I say .xyz and add "the last 3 letters" I have more posibility they will remember it.
I hope I have explained it correctly.

As for me personally - I received just the only one offer on .club ($50).

I agree .CLUB There is a CLUB for just about everything! , CLUBS are popular in every major culture, more on the way

When I say to the potencial visitor of my website my domain + new extension, he will need to remember 2 names: domain and extension. And he will forget one of them, be sure in it.
But he will never forget .com, his ccTLD and .xyz.
Especially if he is not english speaking.
All country with latin based alphabet have xyz as the 3 last letters, so you can use any dictionary words with .xyz
Not in each language direct is direct, top is top, watch is watch and so on.
.xyz is universal

Ok, @johname just told me .io is not new; the thread was asking for new gTLD. But I put .io as one of my new gTLD. Okay, for me .io is new and I still want it to be one of my favorites extension

Gossh I need more education on domain industry

Since 2014 I got 2xx nTLD-domains without any sales.

The only one I have interest in is .media which has, despite what I believe being strong, a relative flop.
If there is hope for gtlds to actually make it, I still think it's the best available.

.Media is one I'm willing to hold for a few years. Mostly LLL and NNN

The only new extension I like it .tech - I'm surprised it's not doing better.
It is pretty good alternative to .io for startups.
But the renewal at Godaddy ($70) is just ridiculous - hopefully they will lower it...

70???? with discount club it's 42. I have some LLL.video (word not acronyms) they wanted 250 for renewal shopped around and it dropped to 110

The best new gtld as of now according to my opinion is .sucks as long another one starting with the sixth english alphabet comes along. This one really speaks for all ngtlds.
ngtld.sucks is available but the price really .sucks.
