I listed almost 50 domains on Sedo, without park them, then I settled "make offer" and I choose "categories" for each domain. But, I haven't received any "visit" yet!

It seems a bit strange to me, I wonder if I've missed something. :xf.confused:

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

I ask you this because I receive many visits/unique visitors on my established Wordpress sites that I monitor with the plugin NewStatPress.

If you are not using their NS, I guess you will hardly receive any visitors on make an offer listing (unless you have CHIPs or some of the premium .com keywords.).

I think you should use "Buy Now" option at Sedo.

if you don't park at sedo
you can't see visitors ( to the parking page )

you may get offers
but meanwhile get yourself a cool beer
it may take a little more then just 10 minutes ....

I've built mini-websites for every my domains, so I can't add name servers on Sedo.

I listed my domains on Sedo only looking for... visibility! But it seems doesn't work... :xf.rolleyes:

Hi

since you've built mini-site for each name, just add a link on each page to the "Make an Offer" page on sedo.

you can put "Make an Offer" on your mini-sites and link from that term.

imo....

Good Luck!

that would be "pretty stupid"

you send them qualified visitors
in order for them to earn 20%
of your efforts??

I'm actually experiencing the same and I have my domains park on Sedo servers. Still a learning process for me.

it's more prudent, than stupid

as the commission fee can be absorbed by or into the price of the domain.

additionally, the seller gets in-house escrow, a medium to negotiate pricing and the buyer gets an established platform to assist in servicing the transaction, should there be a sale.

imo....

I am doing sedo since 2004 or so
guess I know the benefits
but I definetely do know the disadvantages

>as the commission fee can be absorbed by or into the price of the domain

yes you have to add them on top of price
but you don't know upfront
if they will be 10% 15% or 20%

or if there will be value added taxes to be included or not

and the higher price doesn't make sales easier

>additionally, the seller gets in-house escrow,

sedo escrow- if the sale is not done through their system- is 3% fee
so you still can use it if you need to

> a medium to negotiate pricing

that you can do much better when using our own sales form

>the buyer gets an established platform to assist in servicing the transaction,

I have never ever had any transaction issues
that sedo could have solved better then me

many having the same problems

flippa make it easy to add domains in to a portfolio etc

sedo seem to make flying to the moon easier and there seems to be to many fees and t's and c's with sedo to make it viable

i can create a landing page for next to nothing on the domain for sale which will give it automatic
seo ranking using the domain's generic words and create my own t's and c's

and negotiate direct {lol my domain name negotiate.direct lol } with the buyer er direct

that way i can save the fee i would have to pay sedo

total cost of landing page {website} £40 including my years hosting plus cost of .co.uk domain total £50 cost plus escrow which i would make clear on landing page {buyer pays all fees}

audience? google in said category?

There one variable (important thing for me to consider)..asking price at Sedo compared to income earned from mini-site.

For example..using a year time frame..if listing domain for $1000 @ Sedo and taking home $800 (after sale finalized)..Will my site make that (at least projected revenue minus all expenses) in a year?
