I was shocked to get an email 2 days ago from Go Daddy Auctions team that two of my 6N Numeric domains have been sold and that too for "Pennies - $20". I immediately checked my Go daddy portal site and tried to check the details on these 6N numeric domains and found that I had put them on "Offer-Counter Offer" approximately 3 months ago. If I am not mistaken, generally the domains on "Offer-Counter Offer" remain there for around 90 days. The rule says that

"With Offer/Counter Offer listings, you can let buyers submit their own offers for your domain names. When a buyer submits an offer, you can either accept it, submit a counter offer, or push the listing to a 7-Day Public Auction using the buyer's initial offer as an opening bid. When you accept an offer or the buyer accepts your counter offer, the sale ends."

Now, I know for sure that I never accepted these offers nor I submitted a counter offer or pushed them to 7-Day Public Auction. I am an avid and prudent domainers and I can't think of accepting them for such prices even in my wildest dream forget about logging into the Go Daddy with two-factor authentication enabled and then accepting these offers.

I sent an email to Go Daddy auctions team for getting the explanation on this and they got back to me stating that "We have reviewed our system logs and do see that you accepted these offers on 1/24/2016 at 8:41 and 8:42 in the morning (server time - US Mountain Standard Time). At this time this is considered a binding agreement and you are expected to deliver the domains to the buyer."

This is completely absurd and vague to me where I feel cheated and helpless because I know for sure that I never accepted this offer on my two 6N numeric Domains and Go Daddy would remove these two domains from my account within a very short period of time.

I thought to raise this issue on this platform to figure out:

1) If any of you have gone through similar situation in the past and what actions did you take.
2) What should be the best course of action for me where they claim that system logs show that I have accepted these offers whereas I am more than 100 % sure that I haven't accepted these offers.
3) I am an Indian domainers. So, does these types of issue happen because of Geographical differences?
4) How can I escalate this issue to Go Daddy higher management so that this issue is resolved in a just and rightful manner and such occurrences don't repeat in the future.

I thought of "Namepros" to be an ideal platform to raise this type of issue because of its diverse crowd and global reach. Hopefully, Go Daddy management would see this post and they would look into my issues and help to resolve this at the earliest.

Waiting for just actions from Go daddy.

Ask if they are able to tell the IP address of the person that accepted the offers. Even though it sounds like you are saying you have 2 factor enabled.

Yes. I have 2-factor enabled. That is a good idea. Let me ask them the ip address of the machine/person that accepted the offer. Another thing that surprises me that I did login to the Go Daddy server on 1/24/2016 at around 8:39 in the morning (server time - US Mountain Standard Time) as I checked my mobile device and saw that two factor authentication password being sent to my mobile device on 1/24/2016 at 8:39 in the morning (server time - US Mountain Standard Time).

But. I never accepted this offer. I know it is 2-3 steps process to either accept the offer or submit a counter offer or push them to 7-Day Public Auction. Now, this is so so .... wizard and strange to me. Why would I accept the offer for such penny price. Also, when someone makes a offer then you get an email generally and then there is a bit of time lag between someone making an offer and then one accepting the offer. In my case, it all happened so quick. Firstly, I never got an email that someone has made an offer. I just got an email that both of my domains have been sold. Also, it seems that I received the email stating that "my domains have been sold" as soon as I logged out of the Go Daddy server.

All this seems so weird and strange to me. How can I prove that I never accepted the offer when Go Daddy says that "We have reviewed our system logs and do see that you accepted these offers on 1/24/2016 at 8:41 and 8:42 in the morning (server time - US Mountain Standard Time).".?

Is there any Godaddy rule "If offer is made on one of your domain and owner of the domain is away from his account for a week or 10 days than automatically that would be construed as acceptance of offer being made"

Sorry One correction in my earlier email. I checked my email and it seems that I did receive an email stating that - "The offer is valid from the time it was made through 25 January 2016 19:34:00. Whether you choose to accept or counter the offer, you must respond by 25 January 2016 19:34:00. After that, the offer is no longer binding on the part of the bidder."
The offer was made to me on 22nd January 02:12:12 PM ( PST).
But, I never accepted the offer and I am 200 % sure.

Try contacting @Joe Styler , he may be able to assist you to look into this.

BTW, anyone knows how long will a GoDaddy Auctions purchase of a domain registered outside GoDaddy take to be transferred to buyer account, assuming immediate payment to GoDaddy.

Obviously, someone have accepted the offers, so someone could hack into your account.

Mine is 2 Factor enabled and I get the 2 step verification code on my mobile device and so there is no chance of someone hacking into my account.

Jen-Sin - Thanks. I would contact @Joe Styler and see if there is any possible resolution on this issue.
