I am an ex GoDaddy employee and I can tell you that they are limited use. They limit them by your IP address. Theoretically you can use the same code until it stops accepting it, but they would have to be separate transactions.

Also, not a good idea to create new accounts to keep using codes... It usually will not work and if it does you run the risk of fraud dept stepping in.

And they are released quite frequently. Mostly through an outsourced marketing company. I can't put an exact number on it.

I agree not a good idea to open more accounts. As far as I know GD make a loss anything lower than $9 and I don't see many registrar offering same discount so it kinda verify my theory. If you are renewing 50% of your domains then maybe GD will not disable your second account but more than 2 accounts very risky.

An old code which I used in the past seems to work for me again:

All of the codes are valid, since for each of them I got the "Promotion has been applied to your cart!" message and price reduction from $12.99 to $9.99+ICANN.

Do have in mind though that limitations per family basis seem to apply, meaning only one code from HAPPY family will work, one from CODER family etc. Most of the codes are global (all 2.95 are for sure) and chances are that at least some will work for everybody.

I would also like to share another old code, PHD3, which seems to work for multiple new $8.49+ICANN registrations. Not great, but hey, discount is discount and on a plus side it works with PayPal, so ... knock yourself out and happy coding.
