please refrain talk about what is ethical here or not.

Why has the reg price gone down?

If I buy a .ly domain, will it go under if Gaddafi pulls nic.ly? if Gaddafi is defeated?

What exactly is subject to Islamic law in regards to the content of the domain site? Obviously, not adult content but...?

Also, the .ly TLD has a chequered history: Dr Hosni Tayeb and the case of the disappearing Internet

Why not use a .ly a as novelty buy I would never put up anything ambitious/critical on that extension. There are many other cctlds that are no worse than .ly and more reliable.

Libya is a high risk place by many measures.
